Mesh Office Chair Installation
The installation steps for a mesh office chair are as follows:

Prepare Components and Tools
Before installation, ensure all components are complete, including the five-star base, wheels (or casters), gas lift, seat pan, backrest frame, mesh backrest, armrests, screws, decorative buttons, and diamond-shaped decorative panels (if applicable). Also, prepare tools such as a screwdriver and ensure the installation environment is clean to avoid losing parts.Install the Five-Star Base and Wheels
Insert the wheels vertically into the five holes of the five-star base, ensuring they are fully inserted. If using casters, directly snap them into the corresponding slots on the five-star base; their structure supports 360-degree horizontal rotation. After installation, gently shake the five-star base to check if the wheels are secure and avoid potential safety hazards caused by looseness.Secure the Gas Lift
Flip the five-star base to face upwards and vertically insert the gas lift into the central hole of the five-star base. Ensure the metal shaft of the gas lift aligns with the hole and gently press down to confirm there is no wobbling. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the chair's height; incorrect installation may lead to functional failure.Assemble the Seat Pan and Backrest
Snap the computer chair's seat pan onto the top of the gas lift, ensuring the clips are fully engaged. Then, install the backrest frame, align the mesh backrest with the frame's slots, and secure it from the back with screws. Key Point: Tighten the screws crosswise to avoid uneven local stress that may cause the backrest to tilt; ensure the mesh backrest is taut to prevent wrinkles that affect comfort.Install Armrests and Make Detail Adjustments
Align the left and right armrests with the mounting holes on both sides of the seat pan and secure them with screws. Note: Armrests are side-specific; install them according to the markings on the seat pan to avoid inconvenience caused by incorrect installation. After tightening the screws, check if the armrests are level to ensure comfortable arm support.Final Inspection and Decoration
Tighten all screws again to prevent loosening after long-term use. Some chairs require snapping in black decorative buttons (to cover screw holes) and diamond-shaped decorative panels on the back of the backrest to enhance aesthetics. After installation, gently shake the chair to test its stability and check if the height adjustment and rotation functions are normal.
Precautions: Avoid over-tightening screws during installation to prevent stripping; if components are difficult to fit together, check for obstructions or incorrect installation sequence. After completing the installation, it is recommended to keep the instruction manual and spare screws for future maintenance.
