Lighthouse Office Chair Cleaning
The following methods can be referred to for cleaning the Lighthouse office chair:

Surface Dust Cleaning:
For fabric-backed and fabric-seated chairs, avoid hard or sharp objects. Use a vacuum cleaner, a soft cloth, or a duster to remove dust. For stubborn hair and fluff, use a vacuum cleaner with fabric attachments and crevice tools, or use compressed air to clean hard-to-reach spaces. For granular sand, gently brush with a soft-bristled brush, but avoid using a stiff brush to prevent damage to the fabric.
Stain Removal:
- For stubborn stains (such as beverages and food residues), it is recommended to clean with warm water and a neutral detergent, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners. Refer to the chair's care label to select the appropriate cleaner:
- S: Use dry-cleaning solvent;
- W: Use water-based solvent (such as a combination of water and dishwashing detergent);
- SW/S/W: Either solution can be used;
- X: Requires professional cleaning;
- C: Use enzyme detergent.
Test in an inconspicuous area before first use to ensure no damage to the material.
- For small stains, spray with foam cleaner, wait 10 seconds, then wipe. Alternatively, blot up the liquid with a paper towel, clean with warm water and a neutral detergent, then dry with a soft cloth and dry at a low temperature.
- Rubbing alcohol can remove some stains, but test in an inconspicuous area first (avoid using on acrylic fabric). If alcohol is ineffective, try an enzyme-based stain remover.
Wheel Cleaning:
- Remove the wheels (pull them off directly or unscrew them), scrape out debris (such as dry food and pebbles) stuck in the wheels with a butter knife, then wipe stubborn stains with a damp soapy cloth and dry before reinstalling.
- If hair is stuck in the wheels, cut it with scissors and remove it with tweezers. Clean the gap between the wheel and the cover with a cotton swab dipped in water, ensuring complete drying before use.
- Alternatively, wrap the wheels with a damp face towel that has been air-dried, secure it with a rubber band, and move the chair to remove dirt through friction.
Cleaning Other Parts:
Wipe the armrests and legs with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, clean with a diluted solution of water and dishwashing soap.
Rinsing and Drying:
If the chair is washable, wipe away soap residue with a clean damp cloth, then dry the armrests, legs, and seat cover with a dry cloth. Air-dry the cushion in a well-ventilated area or use a hairdryer to speed up drying. Follow product instructions when using dry-cleaning solvents to determine if rinsing is required.
Regular Inspection and Maintenance:
Regularly check all parts of the chair for damage or looseness and repair them promptly. For unusual noises when reclining, spray lubricant on the pivot points or springs; adjust the reclining tension to a suitable level for your body type if the chair is prone to tipping over.
