The installation steps for the left-right office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Prepare components and install wheels
Sort all components and ensure there are no missing or damaged parts. Insert the wheels vertically into the corresponding holes of the five-claw (or star-shaped) base, ensuring a secure connection between the wheels and the base with no looseness or misalignment.

Step 2: Install the gas lift
Flip the five-claw base so that the wheels face downward. Align the thicker end of the gas lift with the center hole of the five-claw base and insert it vertically. For some gas lifts, remove the top cap before installation. After insertion, confirm that the gas lift is aligned with the center of the five-claw base with no tilting.

Step 3: Install the seat base

• Method 1: Place the seat base at the bottom of the cushion, paying attention to its orientation (usually marked or with grooves corresponding to the cushion structure). After aligning the screw holes of the seat base with those of the cushion, use a screwdriver to insert each screw 3-4 turns initially to ensure all screws are loosely fixed, then tighten them one by one to prevent the seat base from tilting.
• Method 2: Use four short screws to secure the tray under the seat, ensuring a tight connection between the tray and the seat.

Step 4: Connect the cushion to the gas lift
Align the hole at the bottom of the cushion with the top of the gas lift and insert it vertically downward, ensuring a complete fit between the cushion and the gas lift with no wobbling. After insertion, gently shake the cushion to check for a secure connection.

Step 5: Install the backrest

• Method 1: Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the cushion and insert them vertically. First, use 2 screws to secure the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets, then align the back of the backrest with the installation holes on the cushion brackets and secure them with paired screws.
• Method 2: Use medium-sized screws to install the backrest rod (with the groove facing upward), insert the rod into the outer tray holes, and tighten the nuts to ensure the backrest is secure.

Step 6: Install the armrests

• Method 1: Press the button below the armrest surface and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively. A clicking sound indicates proper installation.
• Method 2: Use long screws to secure the armrests to the brackets, paying attention to the front-back and left-right orientation of the armrests during installation. For some models, do not fully tighten the screws initially and wait for overall adjustment before final tightening.

Step 7: Install other accessories

• Headrest: Align the headrest with the center of the top of the backrest and secure it with screws, ensuring the headrest is adjustable but not loose.
• Footrest: Secure the footrest rod to the footrest pad, insert it into the footrest frame, and use 2 small screws to block the small hole at the end of the footrest rod to prevent the footrest from being pulled out due to excessive force.
• Massage function: For the 9-point massage model, insert the power massage cable into the corresponding interface to ensure good contact.

Step 8: Final inspection
Tighten all screws, install the armrest decorative caps, and check that the wheels, gas lift, armrests, and other parts are flexible with no jamming or abnormal noises.
