Jiangsu Office Chair Management
The management of office chairs in Jiangsu mainly follows relevant regulations such as the General Office Equipment and Furniture Management Measures, the Allocation Standards for Provincial Administrative Institutions, and the Public Property Warehouse Management.

I. General Office Equipment and Furniture Management Measures Some units in Jiangsu, such as Jiangsu Urban and Rural Construction College, have formulated relevant management measures, stipulating that the allocation of office furniture should fully consider the office layout and adhere to the principles of simplicity, practicality, and classic durability. The allocation of luxurious furniture is strictly prohibited, and the use of precious wood is not allowed. At the same time, the allocation of office equipment and furniture must comply with the standards set by the school, covering upper limits on quantity, price, and minimum service life. This means that during the procurement and management of office chairs, the quantity should be strictly controlled to avoid excessive allocation and resource waste; a reasonable price ceiling should be set to ensure reasonable procurement costs; and a clear minimum service life should be established to guarantee the effectiveness and durability of office chairs.
II. Allocation Standards for Provincial Administrative Institutions The allocation standards for general office equipment and furniture in provincial administrative institutions in Jiangsu provide detailed regulations for the management of assets such as office chairs. These standards include items such as asset categories, upper limits on allocation quantity, price ceilings, minimum service life, and performance requirements. Among them, the upper limit on allocation quantity is determined based on factors such as the unit's organizational structure, functions, and staffing numbers, and units are not allowed to exceed this standard for allocation; the price ceiling is set based on market conditions, and if there are special reasons requiring the procurement of office chairs exceeding the price ceiling, approval procedures must be followed as required to ensure the compliance and rationality of procurement.
III. Public Property Warehouse Management The Sheyang County Government Offices Affairs Service Center has promoted the construction of a "public property warehouse" to centrally and uniformly manage inefficiently operated and long-term idle office equipment, including office chairs, from county-level government units. It adopts a dual-warehouse model of "physical warehouse + virtual warehouse," enabling the sharing and reuse of idle assets such as office chairs among various departments, fully leveraging their "secondary utilization" value, achieving efficient utilization and effective supervision, improving asset utilization efficiency, and avoiding asset idleness and waste.
