Invention of Transformable Office Chairs

Admin October 09, 2026

The currently invented transformable office chairs include Altwork Station, Human Hoist Power Shop Chair, Cluvens Scorpion Chair, and LeanChair, each with unique features to meet the needs of different scenarios and user groups.

Altwork Station: This is an all-in-one office chair invented by a US company. It combines an office chair, desk, and monitor into a single unit, enabling seamless transitions between standing, sitting, and lying postures for the user. The chair is equipped with a hydraulic system inside, allowing for adjustable settings of various parts. Users can easily adjust the chair using the control panel on the desk. Additionally, the mouse and keyboard are magnetically attached to the desk, while the seat cushion, headrest, and footrest are all exceptionally soft, providing a comfortable office experience.

Human Hoist Power Shop Chair: Primarily designed for automotive repair technicians, this chair features three omnidirectional wheels at the bottom, enabling 360-degree rotation and smooth movement around vehicles. It has a battery and a control lever on each side, allowing for height adjustments based on the user's height and body type. The headrest can be folded, and when workers need to go under the vehicle, the chair can be lowered to its minimum height, and the wheels can be locked. With a maximum load capacity of 180 kilograms, it fully meets the special requirements of automotive repair work.

Cluvens Scorpion Chair: Featuring an eight-legged structure, this chair achieves a fully supported floating sensation through a high-carbon steel frame. It uses a cantilever structure to bring the monitor directly in front of the user's eyes, with precise angle adjustments possible via a remote control. It can accommodate a 49-inch large screen or even a triple-screen setup. The desk panel can be adjusted to various angles and comes with built-in massage and heating functions, offering users the ultimate comfort.

LeanChair: Developed by software developer Wayne Yeager, this is a tilted standing chair. It uses a leaning structure to distribute body weight, with a bottom steel frame support system and a footrest component. There is a support platform at waist height for placing the keyboard and mouse. Its overall shape resembles an office boss chair with a reduced tilt angle, making it suitable for people who need to stand for long periods while working but want to reduce physical strain.
