Installation of Various Office Chairs

Admin October 11, 2026

The general process for installing various office chairs is as follows:

1. Installation of Chair Wheels and Five-Star Base
Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes at the bottom of the five-star base, ensuring that each wheel is fully embedded and secure. After completion, flip the five-star base so that its bottom faces downward, forming a stable support structure. Pay attention to ensuring that the wheels are aligned in the same direction to avoid obstruction during sliding after installation.

2. Installation of the Gas Lift
Align the thicker end of the gas lift with the central hole of the five-star base, place it vertically downward, and gently press until it is fully embedded. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height. During installation, ensure that it is aligned with the center of the five-star base to avoid misalignment that could lead to instability during subsequent use.

3. Installation of the Seat Base and Cushion
Place the seat base on the bottom of the cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the seat base (usually indicated by markings or grooves for alignment). Align the screw holes and then screw in the screws one by one. For example, first screw in each of the four holes 3-4 turns, and then tighten them one by one to secure them, preventing the seat base from shifting or the cushion from tilting.

4. Connection of the Cushion and Gas Lift
Align the assembled cushion with the top of the gas lift and insert it vertically into the hole in the seat base until it is fully seated. Ensure that there are no gaps between the cushion and the gas lift connection to avoid squeaking or loosening during use.

5. Installation of the Backrest

  • Bottom Fixation: Align the two sides of the bottom of the backrest with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the cushion, insert them, and then secure them with screws from the bottom of the armrest brackets. For example, use two C screws to initially fix the bottom of the backrest.
  • Rear Locking: Align the back of the backrest with the installation holes on the cushion bracket and secure them with a wrench through screw locking. For example, use two wrenches in combination with D screws to complete the final fixation, ensuring that the backrest is stable and does not wobble.

6. Installation of the Armrests
Press the button below the armrest surface (some models may require pressing a buckle), insert the left and right armrests into the holes in the armrest brackets respectively, and a "click" sound indicates that they are properly installed. After installation, test whether the armrests can be adjusted in height or angle normally (if designed to do so).

7. Installation of the Headrest
Place the headrest vertically in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the headrest installation area to make it fit against the backrest, and then secure it by screwing through the fixing buckle. For example, use two E screws to tighten them step by step (first pre-tighten 3-4 turns, and then tighten them one by one) to ensure that the headrest is not loose.

Special Model Considerations:
For some office chairs (such as the Deli 91029), special attention should be paid to details during installation: ball bearings can be directly pressed and embedded without tools; the seat surface installation should be aligned with the indicator arrows to avoid incorrect orientation that could cause discomfort during use. It is recommended to read the instruction manual before installation and adjust the order of steps or tool usage according to the model.
