Hunan Office Chair Installation
Regular five-star-based office chairs in Hunan can be installed by yourself, or you can contact Changsha Siye Office Furniture Co., Ltd. for customized installation services. If you choose to install it yourself, follow the steps below:
1. Install the Chair Wheels Align the chair wheels with the wheel holes of the five-star base. Choose the installation method according to the wheel type: for plug-in wheels, press them firmly until fully embedded; for threaded wheels, screw them in clockwise. Ensure that each wheel is tightly connected to the five-star base to prevent looseness.
2. Install the Gas Lift Cap and Gas Lift Turn over the five-star base with the chair wheels installed so that the wheels face down. Remove the protective cap from the top of the gas lift and insert the gas lift vertically into the center hole of the five-star base. Note: The gas lift must be fully inserted to ensure that the bottom is firmly in contact with the five-star base and to prevent tilting during subsequent use.
3. Install the Seat Base Place the seat cushion flat on a clean floor to avoid scratching the surface. Align the seat base with the installation position at the bottom of the seat cushion, paying attention to the direction of the seat base (usually marked with front and back indicators). Use a screwdriver to screw the matching screws into the holes one by one. Tighten them crosswise to prevent the seat base from shifting.
4. Install the Gas Lift and Seat Cushion Lift the seat cushion with the seat base installed, align it with the top of the gas lift, and slowly press down to insert the gas lift into the center hole of the seat base. Note: Keep the seat cushion level when pressing down to avoid bending or damaging the gas lift.
5. Install the Armrests According to the design of the armrests, align them with the installation holes on both sides of the seat cushion. Key point: First, fix the front-back direction of the armrests (usually marked with arrow indicators), then use screws to initially fix them. Do not tighten them yet to leave room for adjustment during the installation of the backrest.
6. Install the Backrest Align the backrest with the installation position at the back of the seat cushion, paying attention to the direction (usually marked with the brand logo at the top of the backrest). First, install the screws on both sides of the bottom of the backrest into the corresponding holes of the armrests. Do not tighten them yet; then lift the backrest and install the top screws and initially fix them. Finally, tighten all the connecting screws between the backrest and the armrests crosswise to ensure a stable structure.
7. Final Inspection and Decoration Check whether all screws are tightened, especially those on load-bearing parts such as the gas lift and seat base. Align the armrest decorative caps (if any) with the holes and press them firmly to complete the installation. Tip: After installation, gently shake the office chair to test whether all parts are loose and ensure safe use.
