How to Unfold an Office Chair

The unfolding operation of an office chair mainly includes two steps: adjusting the backrest and lowering the small table (if available). The specific operations are as follows:

Adjusting the Backrest

The method of unfolding the backrest varies depending on the adjustment mechanism of the office chair:

• Button Adjustment on Armrests: If there are buttons on the armrests of the seat, usually one button is used to move the seat cushion forward and backward, and the other is used to adjust the backrest angle. Find the button for adjusting the backrest, press it, lean against the backrest, adjust it to a suitable angle according to your needs, and then release the button to fix the backrest position. This adjustment method is relatively common, easy to operate, and can meet the personalized needs of different users for the backrest angle.
• Knob Adjustment: For some chairs, the backrest adjustment is achieved through a locking knob. Rotate this knob to unlock it, and then you can freely adjust the angle of the backrest. After adjusting to a suitable angle, rotate the knob in the opposite direction to lock the backrest in its current position. The advantage of knob adjustment is that the structure is relatively simple and has good stability, but it may require some effort during adjustment.
• Handle Adjustment: Sit on the office chair, find the adjustment handle, pull the handle, and at the same time, lean your back slightly backward. After releasing the handle, the backrest will be fixed at the adjusted angle. If you want to return the backrest to its original position, continue to pull the handle and apply a little force with your back, and the backrest will spring back. Handle adjustment is convenient to operate and can quickly achieve the adjustment and fixation of the backrest angle.

Lowering the Small Table (if available)

• Opening the Lid: There may be a lid on the armrest on the right side or in front of the seat. Gently open it with your hand. This lid usually serves to protect the small table and hide storage.
• Unfolding the Small Table: After opening the lid, you can see a small table made of metal or other materials. Pull it upward and then rotate the buckle to fix the small table in a suitable position. When unfolding the small table, pay attention to applying an appropriate amount of force to avoid damaging the buckle or the small table due to excessive force.

During the operation, be gentle to avoid damaging the components of the office chair due to excessive force. At the same time, ensure that all parts are firmly fixed to prevent shaking or tilting during use and ensure the safety and comfort of use.
