How to Install a Swivel Office Chair
The installation of a swivel office chair should be carried out according to the specific model, with common steps as follows:

Inventory the accessories and prepare tools
After unpacking, carefully check the accessory list to ensure that all components such as casters, hydraulic rods, metal bases, seat surfaces, backrests, armrests, screws, and nuts are present. Also, prepare tools like Allen wrenches and open-end wrenches. Some models may require additional washers or snap rings. If any accessories are missing, contact the merchant promptly for replacement to avoid interruption during installation.Install the base and hydraulic rod
Press each caster into the pre-drilled holes of the metal base one by one, ensuring that each wheel is securely installed to prevent looseness. Then, vertically insert the hydraulic rod into the central hole of the metal base. Note that the top of the hydraulic rod usually has a threaded or snap-fit structure that needs to be fully embedded into the base for stability. For some models, a height-fixing snap ring needs to be installed at the bottom of the hydraulic rod. In this case, use an Allen wrench to tighten the snap ring screws to prevent the hydraulic rod from falling off during use.Assemble the main components of the seat
According to the instructions or diagram directions, install the adjustment lever (the component that controls the seat's height adjustment or tilt) on the back of the seat surface and fix it with screws and tighten them. The backrest and armrests usually need to be pre-assembled: connect them with screws but do not tighten them completely for subsequent angle adjustment. For split-type armrests, insert them into the pre-drilled slots of the seat surface, then use long screws to penetrate through the seat surface and armrests for fixation, and finally tighten all the screws. The connection between the backrest and the seat surface also requires repeating this step to ensure that the screws are tightened but with room for fine-tuning.Fix the column and seat part
For one-touch swivel seats, first install washers on the four screw holes of the column, then vertically align the column with the screw holes of the seat surface and fix them one by one with screws. During installation, pay attention to the direction of the column. Usually, the top of the column has a mark or groove that needs to be aligned with the corresponding structure of the seat surface. Some models require the use of an open-end wrench and an Allen wrench in combination to tighten the screws to ensure a firm connection between the column and the seat surface.Overall assembly and debugging
Align the assembled seat part with the top of the hydraulic rod and slowly press down to make them fully fit. Some models require rotating the seat surface to activate the locking mechanism of the hydraulic rod. After installation, check that all screws are tightened, test whether the casters rotate flexibly, whether the hydraulic rod rises and falls smoothly, and whether the backrest tilt or rotation functions normally. If any abnormalities are found, re-check the installation of the corresponding components.
Precautions: The installation steps may vary for different models of swivel office chairs. For example, some swivel chairs require fixing the bracket first and then installing the seat surface, or additional installation of headrests, lumbar supports, and other accessories. Be sure to read the instructions carefully before installation to avoid component damage or safety hazards due to incorrect operation.
