Home Office Chair Assembly
Refer to the following steps for assembling a home office chair. Specific operations should be adjusted according to the chair model and component details:

1. Install the Chair Wheels and Five-Star Base Insert each of the five chair wheels into the mounting holes of the five-star base, ensuring that the wheels are fully embedded and rotate smoothly. After completion, flip the five-star base so that the wheels face downward and place it on a stable surface to prevent tipping during assembly. Pay attention to keeping the wheel directions consistent to avoid obstructing the chair's movement due to misalignment.
2. Secure the Gas Lift Align the thicker end of the gas lift with the central hole of the five-star base and press it straight down until it is fully embedded. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the chair's height, so ensure it is perpendicular to the base during installation to prevent tilting, which could lead to malfunctioning height adjustment or safety hazards. If the gas lift comes with an explosion-proof plate, place it over the gas lift before inserting it into the base.
3. Attach the Seat Base to the Seat Cushion Place the seat base (usually made of metal or plastic) on the bottom of the seat cushion, paying attention to its orientation (e.g., the positions of the front adjustment lever or rear tilt lock should match the seat cushion design). After aligning the four screw holes between the seat base and the seat cushion, use a screwdriver to insert the four long screws one by one, turning them 3-4 times initially (to avoid misalignment from tightening all at once), and then tighten them sequentially until fully secured. Ensure a tight connection between the seat base and the seat cushion to prevent looseness or noise during subsequent use.
4. Assemble the Seat Cushion and Gas Lift Align the central hole at the bottom of the seat cushion with the top of the gas lift and press straight down until the seat cushion and gas lift are fully connected. Some chairs may require rotating the seat cushion to lock it in place; refer to the instructions to confirm if additional operations are needed. After installation, test the chair's height adjustment function to ensure a secure connection between the gas lift and the seat cushion.
5. Secure the Backrest and Armrests Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest mounting holes on both sides of the seat cushion. After insertion, use two screws to secure the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets (to prevent backrest wobbling). Then, align the back of the backrest with the mounting holes on the seat cushion brackets and tighten the screws using two wrenches (one to hold the nut and the other to turn the screwdriver) to ensure a firm connection between the backrest and the seat cushion. Pay attention to tightening the screws with moderate force to avoid stripping due to excessive pressure.
6. Install the Armrests Press the adjustment button (if any) on the underside of the armrest surface and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets, ensuring that the armrest height and angle meet usage requirements. Some armrests may need to be secured with screws; follow the instructions for operation. After installation, check that the armrests are stable to avoid affecting the user experience due to looseness.
7. Secure the Headrest (if applicable) Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest and press the headrest mounting area to ensure it fits snugly against the backrest. Insert two screws through the headrest mounting clips and into the reserved holes on the backrest, turning them lightly 3-4 times initially to adjust the position, and then tightening them one by one. Adjust the headrest height according to the user's height to ensure comfortable neck support.
Precautions: Check the component list before assembly to avoid omissions; use tools with caution to prevent scratches; if the screw holes do not align or components get stuck, stop operation and refer to the instructions or contact after-sales service; do not force assembly.
