Hengsheng Office Chair Installation

Admin October 10, 2026

Although there is no specific installation information for Hengsheng office chairs, you can refer to the general installation steps for office chairs for operation. Details are as follows:

Basic Installation Steps

  1. Install Casters and Chair Base
Align the movable casters with the slots on the chair base and press firmly to secure them, ensuring that each caster is firmly installed. Some casters may have locking mechanisms that need to be adjusted according to usage requirements. After installation, flip the chair base so that the casters touch the ground and check for stability.

  2. Insert the Gas Lift
Insert the gas lift vertically into the center hole of the chair base, ensuring it is fully embedded and does not wobble. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height. During installation, keep it vertical to avoid functional abnormalities or safety hazards caused by tilting.

  3. Secure the Chair Base and Seat
Use a screwdriver to fix the chair base (including the control lever) to the bottom of the seat through the pre-drilled screw holes. Ensure that the screws are tightened to an appropriate level to avoid looseness due to being too loose or damage to components due to being too tight. Some chair bases need to be pre-connected with control cables, which should be operated according to the instructions in the manual.

  4. Connect the Chair Back and Seat
Align the metal bracket of the chair back with the buckles or screw holes at the rear of the seat and secure them with screws or buckles. If the chair back supports angle adjustment, install the adjustment device simultaneously and test its flexibility.

  5. Assemble the Seat and Gas Lift
Align the seat part with the installed chair base with the top of the gas lift and press down vertically until it is fully embedded. For some models, rotate the seat to lock the gas lift. Listen for a "click" sound to confirm that it is installed in place.

Supplementary Steps for Multi-functional Models

  1. Install the Tray and Backrest Bracket
If the chair is equipped with an independent tray (for supporting lumbar support or headrest), first attach it to the back of the seat and then install the backrest bracket. The backrest mesh should be fixed through the slots or screws on the bracket to ensure that the mesh surface is flat and wrinkle-free.

  2. Install the Armrests
Align the armrests with the pre-drilled holes on both sides of the seat and secure them with screws. Some armrests support height or angle adjustment. Adjust them to the appropriate position before installation and then tighten them.

  3. Final Inspection and Adjustment
After tightening all the screws, check that the connections between all components are secure. Test the functions such as the lifting of the gas lift, the tilting of the chair back, and the adjustment of the armrests to ensure they are working properly. Finally, install the headrest (if any) and adjust it to a comfortable height.

Precautions: Read the instruction manual carefully before installation and distinguish between left and right components. Avoid scratching the seat surface when using tools. If the buckles are too tight, you can use a rubber mallet to tap gently for assistance. It is recommended to let the chair stand still for 10 minutes after installation before use to ensure the stability of the gas lift.
