Hanging Methods for Office Chairs
There are three main hanging methods for office chairs with hooks: wall-mounted hook hanging, ceiling suspension, and behind-the-door hook hanging, as detailed below:

Wall-mounted Hook Hanging: This method is suitable for regular office chairs with backrests. First, choose an appropriate hook. Ensure that the hook is made of metal and has a load-bearing capacity of over 10 kilograms. If the wall is a load-bearing wall, use expansion screws for fixation to ensure the stability of the hook. The installation height is generally controlled at around 1.2 meters, which is convenient for daily placement and retrieval of the chair and also conforms to ergonomic principles. Additionally, the spacing between hooks should be slightly larger than the width of the chair to ensure stability and prevent shaking when the chair is hung. For example, if the chair width is 50 centimeters, the hook spacing can be set to 55-60 centimeters.
Ceiling Suspension: This method is suitable for lightweight folding office chairs. Prepare strong nylon suspension ropes and buckles. Fix the nylon suspension ropes to the load-bearing beams of the ceiling or dedicated expansion hanging points. Adjust the length of the ropes according to storage needs. If you want the chair to be higher off the ground, increase the rope length appropriately; if you want it closer to the ground, shorten the rope length. When fixing the ropes, ensure they are firmly secured to prevent the chair from falling and causing damage or injury.
Behind-the-Door Hook Hanging: This method is suitable for lightweight office chairs. The advantage is that no drilling is required. Use nail-free behind-the-door hooks and hang them on the top or side of the door. However, the load-bearing capacity of nail-free hooks is generally around 5 kilograms, so they are only suitable for short-term storage or temporary placement of chairs. When using nail-free hooks, first clean the wall or door top to ensure firm adhesion of the hooks. Then, follow the instructions and let them sit for 24 hours before hanging the chair to ensure optimal adhesion.
Precautions: Regardless of the hanging method used, ensure that the load-bearing capacity of the hanging point is at least 1.5 times the total weight of the chair to ensure safety. When using nail-free hooks, strictly follow the instructions to ensure proper adhesion.
