Environmental Protection Office Chair Installation

Admin October 13, 2026

The installation steps for an environmental protection office chair can refer to the installation process of a regular office chair, as follows:

  1. Install the chair base and casters Insert each caster into the assembly holes of the five-pronged (chair base) one by one, ensuring that each caster is fully embedded and free of looseness. If the chair base needs to be installed in conjunction with a gas lift, first fix the casters to the chair base, then vertically place the thicker end of the gas lift into the center hole of the chair base, ensuring that the gas lift is aligned with the center of the chair base.

  2. Install the gas lift The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height. Align the thicker end of it with the center hole of the five-pronged chair base, slowly insert it, and confirm its stability. Note: The gas lift must be kept vertical to avoid instability during installation or damage to its internal structure due to tilting.

  3. Install the seat plate and seat Place the seat plate at the bottom of the seat, paying attention to the orientation of the seat plate (usually clearly marked). After aligning it with the screw holes on the seat, sequentially screw in and tighten the matching screws. Some designs may require first fixing the seat plate to the seat bracket and then connecting it to the seat as a whole. Adjust the order according to the specific structure.

  4. Connect the seat and the gas lift Align the hole at the bottom of the seat's seat plate with the top end of the gas lift and vertically insert it downwards until it is fully fitted. Key point: Keep the seat horizontal during insertion to avoid damage to the gas lift or the seat plate due to angular deviation.

  5. Install the backrest Align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the seat. After slowly inserting it, first use screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest bracket, then align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with the seat bracket, and use tools to tighten the screws to complete the fixation. Some designs may require first connecting the backrest to the seat bracket and then installing the whole onto the seat.

  6. Install the armrests Press the button below the armrest surface (if any), and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively. When you hear a 'click' sound or feel increased resistance, it indicates that the armrests have been installed in place. If the armrests need to be adjusted in height or angle, adjust them according to the instructions after installation.

  7. Install the headrest Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the headrest installation area to make it fit the backrest, screw a screw through the headrest fixing buckle and tighten it to ensure that the headrest does not wobble. Some headrests are designed as buckle-type and can be installed by direct pressing without screws.

Precautions: Currently, there are no special installation requirements for the materials or design of environmental protection office chairs. The above steps are applicable to most ordinary-structured office chairs. It is recommended to check whether the accessories are complete before installation and avoid using excessive force during the installation process. If resistance is encountered, check whether the holes are aligned.
