Enterprise Office Chair Manufacturing

Admin October 10, 2026

Enterprise office chair manufacturing involves multiple processes, with different enterprises having their own practices. Generally, it includes base production, frame construction, component processing, and assembly.

Base Production: Taking a factory in Pakistan as an example, craftsmen first cut steel pipes into standard lengths and then press them into curved shapes for base production. Subsequently, they use gas shielded arc welding to install the steel pipes onto molds (welding platforms) to ensure standard welding workpieces. Next, the welded workpieces are assembled to fabricate universal wheel brackets and weld them onto the footrests. The footrests are then soaked in an acid wash tank to remove rust and dirt, followed by rinsing with clean water and removing moisture with sawdust. After that, the exterior surfaces of the footrests are polished with abrasive belts to achieve a mirror-like finish, and finally, they undergo galvanization to enhance corrosion resistance. In general office chair manufacturing, hydraulic-powered machines are also used to bend steel pipes into shape for fabricating the frames of bottom cushions, connecting the ends and welding steel bars in the middle to support the mechanism for adjusting the seat position.

Frame Construction: During general office chair manufacturing, S-shaped steel springs are hung from the front to the back of the seat frame to provide an elastic mesh. Horizontal bars are placed and clamped onto the springs to increase stability and support. Simultaneously, the back frame of the chair is constructed, including components such as the spine and armrest attachments.

Component Processing and Assembly: In the general office chair manufacturing process, steel burrs are ground down, leather is smoothed, leather patterns are cut according to templates, and foam pads for the chair back are cut to ensure the foam density meets requirements. Subsequently, the processed components are assembled to form a complete office chair.

Different brands also have their own characteristics. For example, Guquan is a brand under Shenzhen Gaotie Industrial Co., Ltd., specializing in the research and development, production, and sales of office chairs. Its product range covers office chairs, executive chairs, electric office chairs, and other categories, serving scenarios such as studies, offices, and conference rooms. Its core products include the minimalist business model C533, the electric adjustable model S009, and the G500 executive chair equipped with a lumbar massage function. The luxury electric executive chair features a three-layer soft-pack design, and the electric product series has angle adjustment capabilities.
