Purchase Price of Energy-Saving Office Chairs
There is currently no unified purchase price for energy-saving office chairs, and their recycling prices are influenced by factors such as material, brand, and condition, similar to the pricing logic for recycling regular office chairs.

In terms of material, there are significant differences in the recycling prices of office chairs made from different materials. Ordinary panel office chairs, with relatively common materials and lower production costs, typically have a recycling price ranging from 50 to 200 yuan per piece. These chairs are abundant in the market, and their recycling value mainly depends on their overall condition and completeness. Genuine leather office chairs, especially those made from high-quality leather, have a higher inherent material value and are relatively sought after in the recycling market. If well-maintained with no obvious damage to the appearance, their recycling price will be significantly higher than that of ordinary panel office chairs. Office chairs made from high-end materials such as rosewood and huanghuali have even higher collection and recycling values, with recycling prices generally calculated at 10% to 40% of the original price, depending on factors such as the type and quality of the wood and the craftsmanship of the office chair.
Brand is also an important factor influencing recycling prices. Well-known brands of office chairs usually offer better guarantees in terms of design and quality, with higher brand added value. For example, some imported brand office desks, if originally priced at 10,000 yuan, may fetch around 3,000 yuan when recycled. This is because branded products have a certain level of recognition and demand in the market, providing recyclers with a certain profit margin when reselling.
The condition of the office chair also has a significant impact on its recycling price. Office chairs that are relatively new and have fewer signs of use will command higher recycling prices. For instance, a complete set of one desk and two chairs, if well-maintained overall, can sell for around 500 yuan; whereas office chairs with obvious wear, scratches, or damage will have their recycling prices significantly reduced and may even be difficult to sell.
In addition, market supply and demand relationships will also affect the recycling prices of energy-saving office chairs to a certain extent. If there is high demand for a certain type of office chair in the market during a particular period, while the supply is relatively low, its recycling price may increase; conversely, if there is an oversupply, the recycling price may decrease.
