Steps for Drawing an Office Chair
The following steps can be followed to draw a simple sketch of an office chair:

First, draw the seat part of the chair. Start by drawing a curved line. This curved line should be natural and smooth, representing the edge contour of the chair seat and reflecting its curvature so that people can immediately see that it is a place for sitting. Then, draw a semi-circle below this curved line. The semi-circle echoes the curved line, further emphasizing the three-dimensionality of the seat. Next, draw a rectangle below the semi-circle. Connect this rectangle with the semi-circle and the curved line, paying attention to depicting the thickness of the seat. Through the turns and connections of the lines, make the seat look three-dimensional, as if it were a real object. After that, trace along the already drawn lines again to make them clearer and smoother, and make the shape of the seat more distinct.
Second, draw the legs of the chair. Draw the four legs of the chair below the seat. Try to make these four legs as straight as possible and of roughly the same length to reflect the stability of the chair. Generally, the four legs of an office chair are perpendicular to the ground, so pay attention to the perpendicularity of the lines when drawing. For the two shorter legs that are visible at the back of the chair, draw them according to a certain proportion and position. They are usually slightly shorter than the two front legs and are positioned relatively further back, which can show the sense of space and realism of the chair.
Finally, add decorative elements. To make the simple sketch of the office chair more vivid and interesting, you can draw some decorative elements such as lace, wavy lines, and small circles. The lace can be drawn on the edge of the seat or the backrest of the chair. The wavy lines can increase the softness of the chair, and the small circles can serve as decorative embellishments on the chair, for example, on the legs or the seat of the chair, making the whole picture richer. These decorative elements can be added according to personal preferences and creativity, but be careful not to make them too complex, so as not to affect the overall simplicity.
