Beijing Office Chair Maintenance
Office chair maintenance in Beijing should be carried out from aspects such as surface cleaning, structural maintenance, core component care, and storage and usage environment.

Surface cleaning: Different materials require different cleaning methods. For mesh materials, first use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust, then use a diluted neutral detergent with a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub, and finally rinse with clean water and let it dry naturally. Avoid using corrosive cleaners. For leather materials, use a dry soft cloth to wipe away dust. When there are stains, use a special cleaner. For PU leather, gently wipe with a damp velvet cloth. It is not recommended to spray care agents on the chair surface. For metal chair frames, regularly wipe away dust with a dry cloth. For stubborn stains, spray a small amount of Pledge and then wipe with a velvet cloth. Avoid using corrosive cleaners.
Structural maintenance: Regularly check whether the screws and nuts at the bottom of the seat are loose, especially at the connection between the backrest and the seat cushion and the fixed parts of the armrests. Tighten them promptly if any looseness is found. Check the lifting of the gas rod. If there is jamming or abnormal noise, apply appropriate lubricating oil. Replace it promptly if the fault cannot be resolved. Regularly check the wheels and armrests. Replace them as soon as possible if they are damaged. Clean the fluff and fibers from the chair wheels, select the appropriate wheel type according to the floor material, and spray an anti-static agent after cleaning.
Core component care: Protect the seat cushion sponge from being scratched by sharp objects. If there is slight sagging, turn it over to distribute the pressure evenly. Avoid excessive squeezing of the elastic components of the lumbar support. Regularly check the elasticity and repair it promptly if it decreases. Adjust the adjusting components of the headrest and armrests gently. If there is abnormal noise in the tilt function of the chassis, spray lubricating fluid at the pivot joints or springs, adjust the tilt tension to a tightness suitable for your body weight, and regularly check the screws.
Storage and usage environment: Avoid exposing the office chair to long-term sunlight or a humid environment to prevent material aging and mildew. Keep the room well-ventilated and control the humidity between 40% and 60% to prevent leather cracking, fabric mildew, or metal part rusting. When not in use for a long time, place it in a dry and ventilated place, avoid stacking heavy objects on it, and cover it with a dust cover to reduce dust accumulation.
