Evil-warding Office Chair
Currently, there are no specific items or methods tailored for evil-warding office chairs, but psychological comfort can be improved by adjusting the environmental layout and using auspicious ornaments.

From the perspective of traditional folk culture, people place great importance on the psychological impact of the environment. When sitting with one's back to a corridor at a workstation, which can make one feel uneasy as if being stared at, people will seek ways to improve this situation. Although there are no specific items designed for evil-warding office chairs, there are similar cases for reference. For example, a colleague who felt discomfort due to sitting with their back to a corridor tried hanging clothes on the chair back and placing cushions, but these methods were ineffective. Eventually, they placed a "Shanhai Town" ornament on the desk and felt much more at ease.
The "Shanhai Town" holds a special place in traditional folk culture. Unlike the aggressive nature of the Bagua mirror or the obvious wealth-attracting connotation of the Pixiu, it resembles a miniature landscape painting. It incorporates elements such as mountains, rivers, the sun, the moon, dragons, phoenixes, and the Bagua, symbolizing having a mountain behind for support and an open space in front. It condenses the layout of heaven and earth into a small space, and this symbolism may bring psychological comfort and a sense of security, thereby improving discomfort caused by the workstation's location.
In addition to the "Shanhai Town," one can also consider placing other auspicious ornaments. For instance, placing green plants not only beautifies the environment but also brings vitality and energy, helping to alleviate tension to some extent. One can also place small stone sculptures, such as the Pixiu (although mainly symbolizing wealth attraction, it is also said to ward off evil spirits) and the Qilin, which have symbolic meanings of protection and evil-warding in traditional beliefs.
Moreover, adjusting the environmental layout of the workstation is also an option. If conditions permit, one can try negotiating with colleagues to adjust the workstation's position to avoid sitting with one's back to the corridor. Alternatively, setting up a screen behind the chair can serve as a certain degree of blocking and isolation, providing a visual and psychological sense of support.
