Yongxiang Office Chair Installation

Admin October 13, 2026

The installation of Yongxiang office chairs can follow the general process for regular office chairs, with specific steps outlined below:

I. Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Tool Organization: Prepare tools such as a Phillips screwdriver, adjustable wrench (a hex wrench may be required for some models), rubber mallet, and scissors.
  2. Component Verification: Common components include chair legs (five-star or four-legged), gas lift (height adjustment column), seat, backrest, armrests, headrest (for some models), screw pack, and instruction manual. Note that components may vary by model; always refer to the instruction manual for accuracy.

II. Step-by-Step Installation Process

  1. Chair Leg and Gas Lift Installation

    • Place the chair legs flat on the ground with the center hole facing up. Insert the gas lift vertically into the center hole and press gently until fully seated.
    • Note: The dust cover at the bottom of the gas lift must be installed in the correct direction to avoid affecting the height adjustment function.
  2. Seat Attachment

    • Align the mounting holes at the bottom of the seat with the top of the gas lift and press down slowly until a "click" sound is heard, indicating that the latch is secure.
    • For reclinable chair models: Install the recline control handle simultaneously and test the recline function for smooth operation.
  3. Backrest and Armrest Connection

    • Pre-assembled backrest: The backrest is already connected to the seat via hinges; simply adjust the angle to vertical.
    • Separate backrest: Secure the backrest to the metal bracket at the rear of the seat using screws, ensuring a firm connection.
    • Armrest Installation: Align the screw holes on both sides of the seat and tighten with the provided screws. Ensure that the left and right armrests are symmetrical to avoid affecting comfort.
  4. Additional Component Installation

    • Headrest: Insert the rod into the้ข„็•™ hole (pre-drilled hole) at the top of the backrest and rotate to the desired height (usually level with the earlobes).
    • Lumbar support: Attach to the middle of the backrest using Velcro or snaps to provide lower back support.
    • Casters: Press the wheels firmly into the holes at the ends of the chair legs until a "click" sound is heard, indicating complete installation.

III. Post-installation Inspection and Adjustment

  1. Structural Stability Check: Shake the chair to test for loose connections, focusing on the joints between the backrest, armrests, and seat.
  2. Functional Normality Test: Verify that the height adjustment, recline, and rotation functions operate smoothly without any sticking or unusual noises.
  3. Safety Detail Check: Confirm that no screws are exposed and that the wheels are securely fastened to prevent detachment or floor scratches during use.
  4. Personalized Adjustment:
    • Adjust the recline tension of the backrest (using the knob beneath the seat).
    • Set the headrest height to a comfortable position.
    • Fix the armrest width to align with the natural drop position of the elbows.
    • It is recommended to check the tightness of the screws monthly to extend the lifespan of the office chair.

Tip: If any components do not match or functions are abnormal during installation, stop use immediately and contact after-sales service to avoid damage from forced operation.
