The installation of the Xiaoyao office chair must be carried out strictly according to the steps to ensure safety and normal functionality. The specific process is as follows:

1. Prepare spare parts and tools

   • Check all the parts list to confirm that there are no missing, deformed, or damaged parts. For example, for the M69 Xiaoyao model, prepare screws of different specifications (such as M835, M618, etc.) and nuts.
   • Prepare common tools (such as screwdrivers and wrenches) and ensure that the tools match the screw specifications to avoid slipping during installation.

2. Select an installation site

   • Operate in a spacious, flat, and well-lit area. Avoid installing in narrow or uneven areas to prevent parts from rolling away or being misaligned during installation.

3. Assemble the chair base and gas lift

   • Insert the casters (universal wheels) vertically into the five holes of the chair base, ensuring they are fully inserted and not loose.
   • Align the bottom of the gas lift (height-adjustable column) with the center hole of the chair base and press it straight down until it is fully embedded. Avoid tilting to prevent damage to the gas lift.

4. Install the armrests and backrest

   • Select the connection method according to the model:
     • M69 Xiaoyao model: Use 4 M8*35 screws to fix the armrests to the backrest. Pay attention to tightening the screws with moderate force to avoid slipping.
     • P Office Chair - 801 model: Insert the lower end holes of the armrests into the corresponding metal rings of the seat cushion and screw in the thick screws to fix them.

5. Connect the tray and seat cushion

   • M69 Xiaoyao model: Use 4 M618 screws to install the tray to the bottom of the seat cushion, and then use 4 M635 screws to connect the armrests to the seat cushion.
   • P Office Chair - 801 model: Pre-place 4 screws into the holes of the tray chassis, align them one by one, and then tighten them to ensure a firm connection between the tray and the seat cushion.

6. Install decorative covers and headrests (if applicable)

   • Cover the armrest decorative covers (such as for the M69 model) to hide the screws and enhance aesthetics.
   • If a headrest needs to be installed (such as for the P Office Chair - 801 model), insert the screw through the black plastic hole center and fix it.

7. Adjust the rocking mechanism and limit

   • Precisely align the rocking mechanism (reclining function component) with the main frame of the chair and fix it with screws. Then check if the connection is tight.
   • Manually shake the chair to confirm that the rocking mechanism moves smoothly without jamming or abnormal noises.
   • If the chair has an angle-limiting device, adjust the reclining range according to your usage habits (such as limiting the maximum reclining angle to 135°) to ensure safety.

8. Stability test

   • Place the chair on a flat surface, sit on it, and slowly perform forward and backward rocking motions to check if the overall structure is stable.
   • If any shaking or tipping risk is detected, stop using it immediately and re-check whether all screws are tightened and the parts are aligned.
