Whale Chair Office Chair

Admin October 08, 2026

The whale chair is not a traditional office chair; there are different design types, some of which are somewhat related to office scenarios. Details are as follows:

I. Whale Chair designed by Spanish designer Maximo Riera This whale chair, model DW004, is a creative leisure seating option. It measures 1700 w | 2000 d | 2400 h. In terms of materials, the chair body is made of imported fiberglass-reinforced plastic molds, with a high-quality baking varnish finish on the surface. Inside, it is filled with imported high-density foam, and the upholstery is made of genuine leather or PU. This whale chair is one of the 15 animal-shaped seating pieces created by the designer, with other models in the series including octopus, rhinoceros, walrus, and lion shapes. The designer created this series of seats to reflect the beauty of nature, pay tribute to the animal kingdom, remind people to maintain ecological balance, and focus on endangered species. From a design perspective, it is suitable for placement in open central indoor spaces. The fully extended whale fins feature an asymmetric design, with the top parts tilting backward to achieve dynamic balance. However, this whale chair is not designed for office scenarios. Each model is limited to 20 pieces, with prices ranging from 3500 to 6500 British pounds. It takes up to 170 hours of manual labor and 190 hours of machine processing, resulting in high costs and limited production.

II. Original Design Office Chair GS-1830C Whale Activity Chair It is a derivative of the new office mode concept, specifically designed for office scenarios. This chair aims to support changes in different postures and free body movements during work, promoting communication and interaction. It is suitable for a wide range of spaces, not only traditional office spaces but also commercial spaces, school spaces, etc., meeting the functional needs of office chairs in different scenarios.

III. "T Chair Office Chair" Its design inspiration comes from the shape of a whale's tail, incorporating bionics into chair design. The back of the chair features a trapezoidal lumbar support, which may to some extent fit the curve of the human back, providing comfortable support for users and helping to relieve lower back fatigue caused by prolonged office work.
