Volkswagen's Office Chair
Volkswagen's electric office chair is an innovative product that integrates automotive technology, boasts rich features, and has a unique design. However, it is currently only available as a test-ride sample and is not planned for mass production. Here is a detailed introduction:

Feature Configuration
The office chair incorporates various automotive-grade features. It is equipped with a horn, information system, rear camera, reverse sensors, a touch-sensitive display, audio system, LED DRL, turn indicators, and seat heating functionality. Through the touch-sensitive display, users can experience multiple functions, such as the rear camera function connected to the rear sensors, which can emit warning sounds based on distance and control media; the built-in audio system in the chair can play audio; it is fitted with newly designed LED DRL and turn indicators for Volkswagen, enhancing visibility; and the seat heating function provides a comfortable experience in cold environments.
Driving Capability
The chair adopts a unique 'rear-wheel drive' approach, featuring five wheels underneath, with some connected to motors. Acceleration, deceleration, and steering are controlled via two pedals on the feet. After charging for about an hour, it can travel approximately 12 kilometers, with a maximum speed of up to 20 kilometers per hour, offering certain short-distance mobility capabilities.
Safety Design
To ensure safety during use, a three-point seatbelt is installed to prevent occupants from being thrown out due to inertia during sudden braking; the five-wheel design enhances driving flexibility and stability; a car horn is installed to alert those around to safety; and an induction key is provided, increasing convenience and safety in use.
Appearance and Comfort
The appearance mimics car seats, adopting patterns and color schemes commonly used by Volkswagen, such as metallic exterior paint, 4-inch solid aluminum wheel rims, and the Volkswagen company logo embroidered on the headrest; the armrests feature LED headlight clusters and ambient light strips mimicking the Volkswagen ID electric vehicle series, with two turn indicators at the back; it has height and backrest angle adjustment functions, allowing users to find a suitable office posture.
Other Features
The back of the seat is equipped with a storage layer for storing small items; it can also carry cargo by attaching a trailer through a towing hook, increasing practicality. However, Volkswagen does not intend to mass-produce this chair; currently, only test-ride samples have been made globally, primarily for use in conjunction with Volkswagen commercial vehicle events.
