Varier Office Chair

Varier office chairs are modern Scandinavian brand products inspired by movement, with activity, freedom, and innovation as their core design philosophies. Many of their products improve health issues related to prolonged sitting through ergonomic design.

Classic Product: Varier Balans Ergonomic Office Chair

Launched by designer Peter Opsvik in 1979, this chair features a beech wood frame and a wool fabric seat, balancing sturdiness and comfort. Its core design goal is to improve sitting posture, achieving healthy support through the following features:

• Spinal Protection: The chair back conforms to ergonomic curves, ensuring the spine maintains its natural curve and reducing lumbar pressure;
• Dynamic Support: Equipped with an adjustable footrest beneath the seat, along with 360-degree rotation and tilting functions, it allows users to freely adjust their sitting posture, promoting blood circulation and smooth breathing;
• Personalized Fit: The backrest height, armrest extension, and seat depth are all adjustable, with multiple color and size options available to meet the needs of different body types.

Innovative Design: Thatsit Adjustable Kneeling Chair

This product breaks away from traditional seating structures, enhancing comfort by distributing pressure:

• Pressure Distribution Mechanism: It transfers back pressure to the hips and knees, combined with an adjustable-height backrest and shin support, ensuring users receive support when changing sitting positions;
• Functional Details: The extended "wings" on the backrest can be used to place arms, reducing shoulder and neck fatigue; the wooden base is made of multiple layers of beech and ash veneer, balancing stability and aesthetics;
• Material Choices: The seat offers various finishes to suit different office environment styles.

Brand Core Philosophy and Product Features

Varier is committed to "challenging the sedentary lifestyle," with its products blending aesthetics and functionality:

• Ekstrem Series: Combines sculptural appearance with ergonomics, supporting various non-traditional sitting positions and encouraging users to actively adjust their posture;
• Varjable Series: Reduces body tension through an original kneeling posture design, making the sitting experience closer to a natural state.

All products emphasize the concept of "dynamic sitting," encouraging users to maintain muscle activity through subtle body adjustments, thereby alleviating fatigue and health risks associated with prolonged sitting.
