Difficult to Use Office Chair
The difficulty in using an office chair may stem from various factors such as the chair's inherent quality issues, improper adjustment, or aging and loss of functionality.

Buying a 'Fake Ergonomic Chair'
Some low-priced office chairs appear to have a design but actually do not provide proper lumbar support. The chassis is a major flaw: low-priced chairs often use butterfly or frog-leg chassis designs, where the seat cushion remains stationary when reclining, leaving the waist directly suspended without effective support. Ineffective lumbar support design: either it is a fixed hard sponge that presses painfully against the waist, or it is a flimsy thin cushion that offers no support. Shoddy materials: the mesh fabric becomes loose after half a year, and the low-density sponge sags within a year, affecting the user experience.
Improper Chair Adjustment
Incorrect lumbar pillow position: if adjusted too high, it presses against the ribs; if adjusted too low, it fails to support the lumbar region, neither providing good lumbar protection. Incompatible seat depth and height: if the seat depth is too short, the front of the thighs will feel uncomfortable, and the body will slide forward, leaving the waist suspended; if the seat depth is too long, the knees will press against the front edge of the seat cushion, forcing the waist to lean forward. Neglected armrest adjustment: if the armrests are too high, they cause shoulder shrugging; if too low, they make one bend over, both indirectly increasing the burden on the waist.
Chair Aging and Loss of Functionality
The core components of an office chair have a service life, and their support decreases after aging. For example, the lumbar pillow and seat cushion deform, failing to provide sufficient support, making the chair feel difficult to use.
Poor Quality of Low-Priced Office Chairs
Some low-priced office chairs have problems right from the start. Severe wheel slippage affects the stability of movement; insufficient stability causes constant wobbling, making it impossible to use with peace of mind; armrests falling off soon after use, with the connection to the backrest also breaking, not only affecting use but also posing safety hazards.
