Student Office Chair Installation
Admin October 16, 2026
The installation of student office chairs needs to be carried out according to the specific type. The installation steps for the common study chair RF - ZY5039 and ordinary office chairs are different. Here is a detailed introduction:

Installation of Study Chair RF - ZY5039
- Install the side frame and backrest: First, assemble the No. 1 side frame and the backrest, and connect them using No. B screws. During the connection process, ensure that the screws are tightened to guarantee the structural stability. This step is the foundation of the entire installation and provides a supporting frame for the installation of subsequent components.
- Install the cross brace: Then install the No. 7 cross brace. When installing, you need to insert wooden dowels and hammer heads. Pay special attention to the cooperation between the vertical grain direction of the hammer head and the screws. The correct direction and cooperation can ensure a firm connection between the cross brace and the frame, preventing looseness or shaking during use.
Installation of Ordinary Office Chairs
- Install the chair wheels: The first step is to install the five wheels. These are the key components that enable the office chair to move flexibly. When installing, ensure that each wheel is firmly installed to prevent wheel detachment.
- Install the gas lift: Insert the gas lift. The gas lift is an important part for adjusting the height of the office chair. During the installation process, ensure a tight connection between the gas lift and the chair wheels to prevent the gas lift from loosening or detaching during use.
- Install the base and seat plate: Find the seat cushion and install the base. Note the use of silver screws. Then place the base under the seat plate and install the base with four long screws. This step requires ensuring that the screws are tightened to make the connection between the base and the seat plate stable, providing a stable platform for the subsequent installation of the back-to-seat connecting corner brackets.
- Install the back-to-seat connecting corner brackets: Screw the screws onto the back-to-seat connecting corner brackets to complete the connection between the backrest and the seat. This step requires ensuring that the corner brackets are installed in the correct positions and the screws are tightened to make the connection between the backrest and the seat firm and able to withstand a certain amount of pressure.
- Install the armrests (optional): If the office chair has armrests, first align the screws at the bottom, install one armrest, then install the other armrest, and finally tighten all the screws. When installing the armrests, ensure a tight connection between the armrests and the seat plate and the backrest to prevent shaking during use.
