Steel Frame Office Chair Production
The production process of a steel-frame office chair mainly includes several key steps: frame production, seat component processing, support frame installation, and final assembly.

The first step is the production of the chair frame. Workers use machines to bend steel pipes into the appropriate shapes to create the frame structure at the bottom of the chair. This step requires precise control of the bending angles and arcs of the steel pipes to ensure the stability and load-bearing capacity of the frame. After completing the bottom frame, the seat cushion part is welded to the frame to firmly combine the two. After welding, springs are fixed on the seat to increase softness, and steel bars are fixed in the middle of the springs for stability, preventing the springs from shifting or deforming during use.
Next comes the processing of the seat backrest and seat cover. The seat backrest is curved according to the comfortable sitting posture for long periods, ensuring that users can maintain a comfortable posture when sitting for a long time. For the seat cover, workers lay the leather flat on the workbench and use a template to cut out the appropriate cover shape. After cutting, they cut sponges of the same size. The sponge is placed between the frame and the cover, acting as a buffer and increasing softness. Then, the sponge and the cover are sewn together to form a complete seat cushion. After sewing, the sponge cushion is installed on the seat frame. Before installing the backrest sponge, a layer of particleboard is added in the middle to increase stability and prevent the backrest from deforming during use. At the same time, a cover is added to the base for stability, and the cover has screw holes for connecting the support structure.
The installation of the support frame is also an important part of the production process. The support frame includes a hydraulic device for adjusting the up and down movement, a 360-degree rotating bearing, and movable wheels. The installation of these components requires precise debugging to ensure that the chair can rise and fall smoothly, rotate flexibly, and move smoothly.
Finally, workers assemble components such as the headrest and armrests. The design of the headrest and armrests usually takes ergonomic principles into account to provide better support and comfort. After assembly, a comprehensive inspection of the chair is carried out to ensure that all components are firmly installed and function properly. At this point, a comfortable steel-frame office chair is completed.
