Staff Office Chair Assembly
The assembly of a staff office chair can be carried out with reference to the following steps, which are divided into two parts: basic assembly and detailed fastening:

I. Basic Structure Construction
Install the Chair Wheels and Pneumatic Rod
Insert each of the five chair wheels into the assembly holes of the five-claw base, ensuring that the wheels are fully embedded and free from looseness. Flip the five-claw base so that the wheels face downward, align the thicker end of the pneumatic rod with the center hole of the five-claw base, and press it vertically until it is fully inserted. Pay attention to the direction of the pneumatic rod in this step; the thicker end is the bottom, and the thinner end is the top. Avoid installing it backward, which would prevent the chair from being raised or lowered.Secure the Base Plate and Seat Cushion
Place the base plate on the bottom of the seat cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the base plate (usually marked or with grooves corresponding to the seat cushion structure). Align the four screw holes, then initially insert four B screws (usually short screws) one by one, screwing them in 3-4 turns to ensure a preliminary connection between the base plate and the seat cushion. Then, use a tool to tighten the screws one by one to prevent the base plate from shifting.Connect the Seat Cushion and Pneumatic Rod
Align the assembled seat cushion-base plate structure with the top of the pneumatic rod and insert it vertically until the base plate hole fully encloses the pneumatic rod. Keep the chair stable in this step to prevent the pneumatic rod from tilting and causing an unstable connection.
II. Detailed Component Fastening
Install the Backrest
Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the installation positions on both sides of the seat cushion armrests. First, insert two C screws (usually medium-length screws) from the bottom of the armrest brackets to secure the bottom of the backrest, ensuring a preliminary connection between the backrest and the seat cushion. Then, align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with those on the seat cushion bracket, and use two wrenches in combination with D screws (usually long screws) to lock them in place, forming a double-reinforced structure to prevent the backrest from wobbling.Secure the Armrests
Press the button below the armrest surface (some models require pressing), and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively. A clicking sound indicates that they are properly installed. Check whether the armrests are level in this step to avoid uneven heights that could affect comfort.Install the Headrest
Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the headrest installation area to make it fit the curve of the backrest, and pass two E screws (usually short screws) through the headrest fixing clips. First, lightly screw them in 3-4 turns to adjust the position, and then tighten them one by one to ensure that the headrest is stable and adjustable in angle.
Precautions: Before assembly, check the specifications of the screws (such as the lengths and uses of B, C, D, and E screws) to avoid mixing them up. All screws should be tightened in stages; first, make a preliminary fixation and then fully tighten them to prevent component shifting. After assembly, check whether all connections are secure and test functions such as chair raising/lowering and backrest adjustment to ensure they are normal.
