Solid Wood Office Chair Repair
The repair of solid wood office chairs requires targeted treatment in steps according to the damage situation, covering core processes such as fracture fixation, gap filling, sanding, polishing and color matching, texture drawing, and gloss treatment, while also providing component repair and replacement services. The specific repair process is as follows:

1. Fracture Fixation
If the chair has a fracture, first drill holes at the fracture site, gradually increasing from small to large holes. The depth of the large hole should be controlled at around 23 millimeters. Use hidden screws to fix the two sides of the fracture to ensure the structural stability of the chair. For leg fracture repair, first remove excess wood shavings at the joint to ensure precise alignment without misalignment, and then mix diamond glue in a 1:1 ratio for bonding. Diamond glue cures quickly and can be sanded immediately after bonding, followed by further reinforcement with a staple gun.
2. Gap Filling
After fixation, fill the cracks to restore surface flatness. There are two methods: First, mix glue with wood shavings to fill the cracks, and after thorough drying, use a file to smooth the surface. Second, fill the gaps with wood powder and compact it, then pour in 502 glue and sand. If misalignment or unevenness occurs during sanding, first scrape it flat with a blade, then polish it with coarse sandpaper to ensure no missed sanding or pinholes. Pay special attention to corner positions to avoid affecting the overall aesthetics.
3. Sanding
After gap filling, sanding is required to eliminate surface imperfections. First, use coarse sandpaper for preliminary sanding to remove obvious protrusions or burrs, and then switch to fine sandpaper for overall sanding until the surface achieves a smooth finish, providing a uniform base for subsequent polishing and color matching.
4. Polishing and Color Matching
After sanding, polish with thinner to enhance surface smoothness. For color matching, use white as the base tone, adjust the consistency, and add a small amount of yellow essence and black-brown for fine-tuning to make the color close to the natural wood color. After adding a brightener, start coloring: Light-colored furniture does not require a base coat; directly use the mixed finish to dot the wounds, gradually transitioning evenly to the surrounding area after coverage. During the transition, the finish should be slightly thin to avoid obvious coverage, and at the same time, lightly sand with fine sandpaper to make the color more even, and finally cover the sanding marks with the finish.
5. Texture Drawing
If it is necessary to restore the natural texture of the wood, deepen and highlight it with finish. First, use the tip of a pen to dot the main texture, then scatter a brush to create broken textures. When sweeping, the brushwork should be light, following the principle of 'less is more, light is better than heavy' to avoid overly deep or messy textures. Finally, fill in the interrupted main textures to ensure a natural and coherent texture.
6. Gloss Treatment
Finally, adjust the gloss level with a matte paint surface blender to make the repaired area consistent with the overall furniture gloss, completing the repair.
In addition, the solid wood office chair repair service also covers the repair and replacement of components such as casters, pneumatic pumps, and armrests, comprehensively solving various problems encountered during chair use.
