Smartisan Office Chair
Smartisan primarily considered two office chair products: Herman Miller and Baibaidiao E3Air ergonomic chairs.

Herman Miller Office Chairs: When Smartisan was first established in 2012, founder Luo Yonghao purchased 10 Herman Miller chairs for his colleagues as part of employee benefits. In 2013, during recruitment, Smartisan explicitly listed Herman Miller as an employee benefit, reflecting the company's emphasis on employee comfort in the office. Luo Yonghao equipped some employees with all-black Herman Miller Embody model office chairs and publicly recommended the product on Weibo. The Embody is a high-end ergonomic chair from Herman Miller, renowned for its dynamic support and design that conforms to the human body's curves, typically priced at over ten thousand yuan. However, this benefit did not cover all employees. Information suggests that employees with ID numbers after 300 were not provided with chairs from this brand, and subsequent recruitment requirements removed descriptions related to 'providing chairs,' indicating that the benefit may have been adjusted according to the company's development stage.
Baibaidiao E3Air Ergonomic Chair: In addition to Herman Miller, Luo Yonghao also strongly recommended the Baibaidiao E3Air ergonomic chair. He referred to it as a 'savior for those suffering from lumbar muscle strain' in public, emphasizing its design for lumbar support for people who sit for long periods. The Baibaidiao E3Air is a mid-range product focusing on cost-effectiveness, with features that may include an adjustable lumbar support and breathable mesh fabric, suitable for users with limited budgets but seeking comfort. This recommendation reflects Luo Yonghao's attention to the functionality of office chairs, shifting from high-end brands to more affordable solutions to meet the needs of different employees or users.
Summary: Smartisan's office chair selection strategy presents a 'high-end + practical' dual approach. Initially, it established its corporate image through Herman Miller and later introduced Baibaidiao E3Air to expand coverage. This change is related to cost control and also reflects a response to the actual needs of employees.
