Smart Office Chair Battery
There is no unified standard for the battery models of smart office chairs, which vary depending on the brand, model, and application scenario.

Smart office chairs used in office or home settings mostly use lithium batteries, with common types including 18650 and 2650 cylindrical batteries, as well as soft-pack lithium batteries. Their voltage is generally 3.7V or 7.4V, with a capacity range of 500mAh to 5000mAh. These batteries can meet the functional requirements of smart office chairs, such as sedentary monitoring and electric adjustment. For example, some mainstream brands use customized 18650 lithium battery packs with a voltage of 3.6V and a capacity of 2000mAh.
In public settings, such as airports and shopping malls, smart seats may use lithium iron phosphate batteries considering the requirements for long battery life and safety, with common models like 2800mAh and 32650.
If you want to inquire about the battery model of a smart office chair, there are several methods:
- Check the product manual: The 'Battery Parameters' section of the product manual will detail the battery model, voltage, and capacity. For example, it may be labeled as 'Lithium Battery Model: 18650 - 4S2P, Voltage 14.8V, Capacity 800mAh'.
- Contact brand customer service: Provide the specific model of the chair to the brand's customer service, such as 'Okamura Contessa II Smart Edition', and the customer service staff can directly inform you of the battery model used in the chair.
- Inspect the battery label: If you need to replace the battery yourself, ensure safe power-off operation and then find the model code on the surface of the battery pack, such as 'ICR18650 - 2500mAh'.
It should be noted that the batteries of smart office chairs are mostly custom-packaged and not universal models. When replacing the battery, ensure that the parameters of the new battery match those of the original battery to avoid damaging the device due to voltage mismatch. Additionally, during the use of lithium batteries, pay attention to keeping the charging temperature between 0 - 45โ and be mindful of the storage environment to prevent overcharging and over-discharging, thereby ensuring the battery's service life and safety.
