Small Office Chair Installation
The installation steps for a small office chair are typically divided into the following 7 stages, which should be carried out in order with attention to detail differences:

Install the casters and chair base
Insert each caster vertically into the five-pronged assembly holes of the chair base, ensuring that each caster is fully embedded and free of looseness. Some chair bases may use a snap-fit design, requiring a 'click' sound to confirm proper fixation. This step requires checking that the casters rotate smoothly to avoid subsequent usage issues.Install the gas lift
Place the thicker end of the gas lift vertically against the center hole of the chair base, ensuring a flat contact surface. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the chair's height, and care should be taken to avoid tilting or forcing it during installation to prevent damage to internal seals that could cause air leaks. Some models may require a small amount of lubricant to be applied to the surface of the gas lift to reduce friction.Secure the base plate to the seat
Position the base plate on the underside of the seat, align the screw holes, and secure with screws. Screw specifications may vary by model, including 4 long screws or B screws, and should be selected strictly according to the parts list. When using an electric screwdriver, control the torque to avoid over-tightening, which could deform the base plate or crack the seat.Connect the seat to the gas lift
Align the base plate hole on the underside of the seat with the top of the gas lift and insert it until a 'click' sound is heard or increased resistance is felt. This step requires keeping the seat level to prevent the gas lift from tilting, which could pose a safety hazard. Some models may require rotating the seat 90ยฐ to complete locking, so refer to the instructions for the correct operation method.Install the backrest
Insert the bottom sides of the backrest into the mounting slots on both sides of the seat, first securing the bottom of the backrest with screws from the underside of the armrest brackets, then using a wrench to lock the back of the backrest to the seat brackets with screws. If the model includes a back bar, install it with the groove facing up and secure with medium screws. This step requires two people to collaborate to prevent the backrest from tipping over and causing damage.Install the armrests and headrest
Press the button below the armrest surface, align the left and right armrests with the bracket holes, insert them, adjust to a comfortable height, and release the button to lock. The headrest should be placed in the middle of the top of the backrest, secured with screws through the mounting clips, ensuring that the headrest can be adjusted up and down without wobbling. Some armrests support multi-directional adjustment, so test the functionality after installation.Install functional components
If the chair has features such as a footrest or massage function, additional fixation of the footrest bar and footrest pad, or plugging in the power massage cord, is required. For footrest installation, check that the hinges are flexible, and for massage function, test that the power connection is stable. This step should be performed with the power off to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Precautions: Different models may have variations in screw specifications (such as C screws) and component names (such as trays). Before installation, verify the parts list and refer to the specific instructions. If excessive resistance is encountered or components cannot be aligned, do not force assembly; instead, contact after-sales service to investigate potential design flaws.
