slhoo Office Chair

The methods for adjusting the recline and related functions of the slhoo office chair are as follows:

I. Adjusting the Recline Angle
To adjust the backrest recline angle, first sit upright and ensure your body is fully seated on the chair, maintaining a stable position. Then, locate the adjustment lever on the side or bottom of the chair, usually made of metal or plastic, positioned for easy operation. After pulling the lever, gently lean your back backward, and the backrest will tilt backward with your body movement. When you reach the desired angle, release the lever, and the backrest will automatically lock in place, securing the angle. To return to an upright position, pull the lever again while gently pushing your back forward, and the backrest will spring back to its original position. This process utilizes the chair's internal mechanical locking mechanism, controlled by the lever to lock and unlock. When operating, ensure even force is applied to avoid sudden movements that may cause the chair to wobble.

II. Backrest Flattening Operation
To fully flatten the backrest (e.g., for a lunch break), locate the lever beneath the right armrest. This lever is typically elongated and may feature a non-slip texture on its surface. Pull the lever upward or downward (direction varies by model) while slowly leaning your back backward, and the backrest will gradually flatten to a nearly horizontal position. Some models may require holding the lever continuously to maintain the flattened state; releasing it may cause the backrest to automatically rebound or remain locked, depending on the actual design. Adjust the operation method accordingly.

III. Adjusting the Forward-Backward Swing Amplitude
The forward-backward swing function of the chair is achieved by rotating the black cylindrical device at the front end of the gas lift. This cylinder is a damping adjuster and may feature markings or labels on its surface. Rotating it clockwise increases the swing resistance, reducing the chair's forward-backward sway amplitude; rotating it counterclockwise decreases the resistance, increasing the sway amplitude. When adjusting, hold the cylinder with both hands and rotate it slowly to a comfortable position, avoiding rapid rotation that may cause sudden pressure changes inside the gas lift. After adjustment, test the amplitude by gently swaying the chair to ensure safe use.

Precautions:

  1. Maintain body balance during adjustment to avoid falling due to sudden movements.
  2. If the lever or handle is difficult to operate, it may indicate internal parts are stuck; contact after-sales service for inspection and do not force it.
  3. After long-term use, regularly inspect the gas lift and mechanical structure to ensure no looseness or wear.
