Simple Office Chair Production
The production process of a simple office chair mainly includes frame making, spring installation, back frame construction, leather processing, foam cutting and stitching, assembly, and installation of functional components.

First, the frame is made. Workers use hydraulic-powered machines to bend steel pipes into shape, create the frame for the bottom cushion, connect the ends, and weld steel bars in the middle to support the mechanism for adjusting the seat position. This step provides the basic framework for subsequent assembly, ensuring the structural stability of the chair.
Next, springs are installed. S-shaped steel springs are hung from the front to the back of the seat frame to provide elastic support, and horizontal bars are placed to add extra stability and support. The installation of springs gives the chair better elasticity and comfort, enabling it to adapt to the needs of different weights and users.
Then, the back frame of the chair is constructed, including the spine, armrest attachments, and other components, and the burrs and other rough areas on the steel are smoothed out. The construction of the back frame should not only consider structural strength but also focus on ergonomic design to provide comfortable support.
For simple office chairs made of leather, workers smooth the leather, cut patterns according to cardboard templates, and bypass natural flaws on the leather to obtain all the leather needed for making the chair. This step ensures the quality and appearance of the leather, improving the overall quality of the chair.
After that, the foam pads for the back of the chair are cut. A harder foam is used for the seat cushion to maintain its shape, while a softer foam is chosen for the backrest to enhance comfort. Then, the leather and foam are stitched together to form decorative thread patterns as needed, and the seat back, side panels, and contour covers are stitched separately.
During the assembly stage, a layer of cardboard is added to the backrest frame, followed by a layer of foam, and finally wrapped with a leather cover. A sliding plate assembly is installed to adjust the seat position. Then, a hydraulic cylinder is installed, which can adjust the height and also rotate the seat 360 degrees. The hydraulic cylinder is connected to an aluminum base, and casters are inserted.
Finally, a headrest and armrests are installed on the backrest, completing the production of the simple office chair. The installation of these functional components makes the chair more in line with ergonomic design, improving the comfort and convenience of use.
