Shenzhen Office Chair Lifting

Admin October 11, 2026

There are office chairs with lifting functions available in Shenzhen. The following provides an introduction from two aspects: product examples and lifting principles.

Product Examples

The Beiwei office chair produced by Shenzhen Beiwei Seating Co., Ltd. is a representative office chair with a lifting function in the Shenzhen area. The chair's chassis adopts a wired dual-function chassis, allowing for convenient control of the chair's height through wired operation. This meets the personalized needs of users of different heights for seat height, providing a more comfortable and ergonomic sitting experience.

Lifting Principles

Office chairs with lifting functions in Shenzhen generally adjust the seat height through lifting positioning devices. Common types include pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical ones.

  • Pneumatic: Pneumatic lifting chairs are a relatively common type on the market. They use high-pressure nitrogen cylinders to achieve smooth lifting of the seat. Inside the cylinder, high-pressure nitrogen serves as the power source, and the height of the seat is changed through the movement of the piston within the cylinder. When the seat needs to be raised, the nitrogen in the cylinder pushes the piston upward, causing the seat to rise; when the seat needs to be lowered, by releasing the gas in the cylinder, the piston moves downward under the force of gravity, and the seat descends accordingly. This lifting method is easy to operate, with a smooth lifting process, and can quickly respond to the user's adjustment needs.
  • Hydraulic: Hydraulic lifting chairs control the seat height through the principle of pressure. They mainly consist of a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic cylinder, and related control valves. When the user operates the control device, the hydraulic pump starts working, drawing hydraulic oil from the oil tank and pumping it into the hydraulic cylinder, pushing the piston to move and thus raising the seat; when the seat height needs to be lowered, the control valve is opened, and the hydraulic oil flows back from the hydraulic cylinder to the oil tank, and the seat descends under the force of gravity. The lifting process of hydraulic lifting chairs is relatively stable, but compared to pneumatic ones, their structure is more complex, and the maintenance cost is higher.
  • Mechanical: Mechanical lifting chairs usually achieve seat lifting through screw mechanisms or gear mechanisms. The user rotates or pulls the corresponding mechanical parts, causing the screw rod or gear to rotate, which in turn drives the seat to rise or fall. Mechanical lifting chairs have a relatively simple structure and low cost, but the lifting process may require the user to exert a certain amount of effort, and the adjustment accuracy is relatively low.
