Shanghai Office Chair Repair

There are several companies or individuals in Shanghai that offer office chair repair services. Here are some specific recommendations:

1. Shanghai Baiyue Exhibition Equipment Rental
This agency provides repair services for furniture such as tables, chairs, and sofas, covering the entire city of Shanghai. Its services include fixing common issues with office chairs, such as damaged wheels, malfunctioning gas cylinders, and collapsed seats. If an office chair has structural looseness or component wear due to long-term use, this agency can be contacted for overall inspection and replacement of parts.

2. Shanghai Lecong Furniture Repair Service Co., Ltd.
Located in Qingpu District, Shanghai, its main business includes the repair of furniture and office equipment. The company has a professional repair team capable of handling complex faults with office chairs, such as jammed backrest adjustment mechanisms, broken armrests, and deformed five-star bases. If the office chair is a high-end brand or made of special materials (such as leather or mesh), the company can provide targeted repair solutions.

3. Yan Zidong Chen Yan Furniture Repair
Covering the entire city of Shanghai, it specializes in the repair of sofas and chairs. Its strength lies in addressing issues with the soft parts of office chairs, such as damaged leather on the seat, collapsed foam, and split seams. If the comfort of the office chair has decreased due to the aging of internal fillings, this repair service can restore the user experience by replacing high-density foam or adjusting the support structure.

4. Mr. Wang Local Quick Repair and Installation
Provides sofa care and office chair repair services, with door-to-door service throughout Shanghai. This repair service excels at quickly resolving mechanical faults with office chairs, such as ineffective lifting and lowering of the gas cylinder, stuck wheels, and abnormal noises from the rotating mechanism. If emergency repair or temporary replacement of parts (such as casters or screws) is needed, it is advisable to contact such individual repair personnel first, as they usually respond quickly.

5. Shanghai Mr. Chu
Specializes in the restoration of solid wood furniture and can handle issues such as broken legs of solid wood chairs and loose mortise-and-tenon joints. If the office chair has a solid wood frame (such as an executive chair or conference chair) and the damaged part is wooden, this repair service can restore it using traditional mortise-and-tenon techniques or modern reinforcement methods, preserving the original texture of the furniture.

Selection Advice:

• Ordinary Office Chairs: Prioritize contacting individual repair services (such as Mr. Wang) or comprehensive repair companies (such as Baiyue Exhibition) that serve the entire city of Shanghai, as they offer lower costs and quick responses.
• High-End/Branded Office Chairs: Choose companies like Lecong Furniture Repair that have professional equipment to ensure matching parts and high-quality repairs.
• Solid Wood Office Chairs: Contact Mr. Chu directly to avoid secondary damage to the wooden structure caused by non-professional repairs.
Before repair, it is recommended to clarify the type of fault and obtain a quote through phone or online communication. Some repair services offer free on-site inspection services.
