Although the 'Office Space Designer' position advertised by the company does not explicitly mention 'environmental protection office chair design,' the responsibilities may involve the overall design of office furniture, including the application of eco-friendly materials and optimization of ergonomic structures. The position requires a college degree, with no experience required or 1-3 years of experience, making it suitable for individuals with a design background and an interest in the environmental protection field.

2. Guidance from Industry Trends for Design Directions

The Qingdao Office Furniture Design Trends (2026) clearly identify health and environmental protection, along with ergonomics, as core requirements, with specific standards including:

• Material Environmental Protection: Products must meet E0-level or international F★★★★ certification standards, prioritizing the use of low-formaldehyde panels and low-VOC (volatile organic compound) materials to reduce chemical pollution in office environments.
• Ergonomic Application: Designs should fit the human body's curves, optimize seat support structures, reduce fatigue from prolonged sitting, and enhance user comfort.
These trends provide clear directions for environmental protection office chair designers in Shandong, emphasizing the importance of material selection and structural innovation.

3. Cross-Regional Corporate Design Case References

UE Furniture (Huzhou), although not a Shandong-based company, has office chair appearance designers responsible for product appearance design, 3D modeling, and exhibition image output, with a product focus on healthy seating solutions that align closely with eco-friendly design concepts. As a national high-tech enterprise involved in industry standard setting, its design processes and material applications can serve as reference cases for Shandong designers, such as how to reduce material waste through structural optimization or lower harmful substance emissions through surface treatment processes.
