SENAB Office Chair Assembly Guide

Admin October 08, 2026

The assembly process for the SENAB office chair is standardized and of moderate difficulty. Follow these steps:

Pre-assembly Preparation: Count all the components, including the five-star base, casters, gas lift, seat plate, seat cushion, left and right armrests, backrest, headrest, and matching screws, and prepare a Phillips screwdriver. Ensure all parts are complete and undamaged to avoid interruptions during assembly due to missing components.

Assemble the Five-Star Base and Casters: Place the five-star base with its front side up. Align each of the five casters with the holes at the ends of the five branches of the base. Press down firmly with the palm of your hand until they click into place. Some models may require twisting to insert; adjust the operation method according to the caster design. Ensure the casters are securely installed to prevent them from coming loose during subsequent use.

Install the Gas Lift: Remove the protective cap from the top of the gas lift. Flip the five-star base so that the central hole is facing up. Insert the thicker end of the gas lift vertically and steadily into the central hole of the base until it reaches the bottom. The gas lift must be oriented correctly, with the thick end inserted downward into the base and the thin end facing upward for connecting to the seat cushion. Incorrect orientation will result in assembly failure or safety hazards.

Install the Seat Plate and Armrests: Place the seat cushion upside down. Align the seat plate with the mounting holes on the bottom of the seat cushion and secure it with the matching screws. Then, install the left and right armrests. When fixing them with screws, distinguish between the left and right sides to avoid installing them backward, which can affect comfort. The tightness of the screws should be moderate; too loose may cause wobbling, and too tight may damage the threads.

Attach the Backrest: Align the connecting part of the backrest with the mounting holes at the back of the seat cushion or on the back of the armrests. Use longer screws to firmly connect the backrest to the seat cushion (or through the armrests) and tighten them initially. Ensure the mounting holes of the backrest and seat cushion are aligned to prevent screw misalignment and structural instability.

Overall Assembly and Install the Headrest: Place the five-star base with the installed casters upright on a flat surface, ensuring the gas lift is stable. Hold the assembled seat cushion with the seat plate and armrests steadily with both hands and insert the hole at the bottom of the cushion vertically onto the thinner top end of the gas lift. Finally, insert the support rod of the headrest into the reserved hole at the top of the backrest and adjust it to the desired height.

Post-assembly Inspection: If there is slight wobbling or abnormal noise, it is usually due to screws not being fully tightened or components not being aligned. Recheck the tightness of all screws and confirm that the installation directions of critical components such as the gas lift and backrest are correct.
