Rotating Leather Office Chair

Admin October 10, 2026

A rotating leather office chair is an office seat with a 360-degree rotation function. Its manufacturing process is complex, and its structure is scientific, combining flexibility and comfort.

Manufacturing Process

The production of a rotating leather office chair involves multiple steps:

  1. Frame Welding: First, a sturdy base is welded, steel springs are installed and inserted into the support frame. After completing the seat frame, the backrest frame is welded to ensure structural stability.
  2. Material Cutting: The leather is smoothed out and cut according to templates. At the same time, sponge blocks of different densities are cut based on functional requirementsโ€”soft sponge for cushioning and hard sponge for shaping contorted areas.
  3. Assembly and Wrapping: After stitching the leather and sponge together, they are covered over the welded frame. Fillers such as particleboard and sponge foam are added to form the preliminary shape of the seat and backrest.
  4. Installation of Functional Components: A plastic cover plate, base, support rod, and support plate are installed at the bottom of the seat. The hydraulic rod of the lifting valve seat (a core functional component) is connected to enable height adjustment and 360-degree rotation. Finally, an aluminum base and casters are installed to ensure smooth movement.
  5. Detail Refinement: Components such as headrests and armrests are added to enhance comfort.

Structural and Functional Characteristics

  1. Structural Composition: It includes a headrest, backrest, seat, armrests, gas rod support, rotating shaft, and a five-claw base with wheels. The gas rod is filled with high-pressure nitrogen gas, generating elastic force through differences in piston cross-sectional areas to support body weight and adjust height, which can be locked at any position.
  2. Rotation Performance: According to the rotation angle, it is divided into semi-rotating chairs (90 degrees left and right) and full-rotating chairs (360-degree rotation). It relies on the coordination of the gas rod and rotating shaft to achieve smooth rotation without jams.
  3. Mobility Flexibility: The design of the five-claw base with wheels allows the chair to slide easily, facilitating the retrieval of documents or communication with colleagues, reducing the number of times one needs to get up, and improving work efficiency.
  4. Comfort Optimization: The leather material is wear-resistant and breathable. Combined with sponges of different densities, it provides good support and cushioning, making it less fatiguing for long-term use.

Application Scenarios

Rotating leather office chairs are widely used in modern offices, conference rooms, and other scenarios. Their flexibility and ergonomic design can meet diverse office needs, becoming key furniture for improving work efficiency and comfort.
