Pulley Office Chair Making

Admin October 16, 2026

Pulley office chairs can be made in various ways, with common methods including modifying them using roller skate wheels or refitting original factory seats with aluminum alloy profiles.

Modifying a Massage Chair Using Roller Skate Wheels

First, Material Preparation: Collect roller skate wheels, slide rails, aluminum sheets, hollow round tubes, thick wooden boards, iron frames, bearings, fabric, and raw wood. The roller skate wheels serve as the moving parts, the slide rails assist in sliding, the aluminum sheets are used for structural connections, the hollow round tubes act as the main support, the thick wooden boards are for the seat backrest, the iron frames and bearings enable movement, the fabric is for edge binding, and the raw wood is for decoration and connections.

Next, Structural Fabrication: Bend and weld the aluminum sheets onto the hollow round tubes to form a sturdy support frame. Fix the office seat backrest with the thick wooden board. Bend the wooden board, drill a hole in the center, and cut it into a long strip shape. Smooth the edges to prevent injury to the user. Fix an iron frame above the wooden board and connect it with bearings to allow flexible movement of the backrest, achieving a massage function.

Finally, Decoration and Assembly: Prepare raw wood, sand it, and apply wood wax oil to make the surface smooth and aesthetically pleasing. Drill holes in the raw wood and connect it with the hollow round tubes to complete the overall assembly of the chair. Use fabric to bind the edges of the chair, enhancing comfort and aesthetics, ultimately creating a massage chair that can move and massage the waist at any time.

Refitting an Original Factory Seat Using Aluminum Alloy Profiles

First, Material Selection: Choose 40120 aluminum alloy profiles, which have high strength and stability and are suitable for making chair frames. Select double-wheel medical casters, which are flexible in movement and have a certain load-bearing capacity. Also, prepare a base plate and the original factory seat.

Next, Frame Assembly: Enclose the aluminum alloy profiles on three sides to form a box shape, add the base plate, and create a sturdy chair frame. Fix it using the four holes on the original factory seat to ensure a firm connection between the seat and the frame, preventing looseness or wobbling during use.

Finally, Caster Installation: Install the double-wheel medical casters at the bottom of the chair frame to ensure they can rotate flexibly, allowing the chair to move easily. After simple assembly and adjustment, the original factory seat can be refitted into a living room pulley chair, meeting usage needs in different scenarios.
