Preferred Office Chair Installation
The installation steps for the preferred office chair are as follows:

1. Inventory the Parts
Before installation, ensure that all components are complete, including 5 casters, 1 pneumatic lift rod, 1 five-star base, 1 control mechanism tray, 1 seat, as well as screws (types B, C, D, E) and wrenches. If any parts are missing, contact the supplier for replacements before proceeding with the installation.
2. Install the Casters
Insert each of the 5 chair casters into the mounting holes of the five-star base, ensuring that each caster fits snugly into its hole without any looseness. Apply even pressure when inserting to avoid caster detachment or damage to the five-star base due to misalignment.
3. Connect the Pneumatic Rod
Align the thicker end of the pneumatic lift rod with the center hole of the five-star base, insert it vertically downward, and press gently to the bottom to ensure a tight connection between the rod and the base. For some models, place the five-star base flat on the ground and align the hole-punched thick end of the pneumatic rod with the base's hole before insertion.
4. Install the Base (Tray)
- Method 1: Place the base on the seat cushion, paying attention to the base's orientation (usually marked), align it with the 4 screw holes, first screw in each B screw 3-4 turns, and then tighten them sequentially to secure.
- Method 2: Flip the seat over, remove the screws from the bottom of the cushion, align the tray with the mounting holes on the bottom of the cushion, and secure it with screws before tightening.
5. Connect the Seat to the Pneumatic Rod
Align the base hole at the bottom of the seat with the top of the pneumatic rod and insert it vertically to the bottom to ensure a secure connection. For some models, place the tray directly over the pneumatic rod, ensuring alignment of the holes to avoid misalignment.
6. Install the Backrest
- Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the mounting positions on the armrests of the seat, insert them, and secure the bottom of the backrest with 2 C screws from the bottom of the armrest brackets.
- Align the mounting holes at the back of the backrest with those on the seat bracket, and use two wrenches to lock the D screws in place, ensuring the backrest is stable without any wobbling.
7. Install the Armrests
Press the button below the armrest surface, insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively, and a 'click' sound indicates proper installation. If the armrests are height-adjustable, adjust them according to your needs and then secure them.
8. Install the Headrest
Place the headrest vertically in the middle at the top of the backrest, press the headrest mounting area to fit it against the backrest, and use 2 E screws to pass through the headrest's fixing clips, first screw them in 3-4 turns and then tighten them one by one to ensure the headrest is stable and does not slide.
9. Check for Safety
After installation, sit on the chair and operate the lift handle to check if the pneumatic rod lifts smoothly and if the armrests, backrest, headrest, and other parts are secure without any unusual noises. If any issues are found, recheck the screw tightness or component connections in the corresponding steps.
