Porsche-Style Office Chairs
Porsche has introduced two office chairs with distinctive designs: the Silver Argent E700 Genuine Leather Gaming Chair and the Office Chair RS.
The Silver Argent E700 Genuine Leather Gaming Chair is designed by Porsche Design Studio, integrating the concept of sports car seats with the comprehensive adjustability of leisure and office chairs. Its one-piece form is accentuated with genuine leather and aluminum accessories, presenting an elegant and stable overall design. In terms of materials, the seat and headrest are made of full-grain cowhide with a thickness between 1 and 1.1 millimeters, paired with red stitching, offering both superior texture and outstanding visual appeal. Functionally, the headrest, backrest, seat cushion, and armrests are all adjustable, providing complete support for the body and meeting the needs of different users in various office scenarios.
The Office Chair RS, launched by Porsche officially, adopts the same seat design as the 911 sports car, featuring high recognizability and uniqueness. In terms of materials, it uses genuine leather that meets Porsche's sports car standards, with black leather paired with red stitching, exuding both classic and fashionable vibes. This chair is also rich in functions: it has a regulator at the bottom for easy height adjustment; a rechargeable battery built into the backrest allows for electric adjustment of the backrest tilt angle, enabling users to adjust according to their comfort level; the armrests on both sides support height and front-back position adjustments, further enhancing usability flexibility. Additionally, the chair has a built-in hook at the back for hanging items; the base is equipped with five wheels for easy movement; and the front leather features an embossed Porsche emblem, highlighting its brand identity. However, this chair comes with a high price tag of $6,570.
Furthermore, the design philosophy of Porsche Design's Roadster luggage series can be extended to office settings, emphasizing the stylish integration of travel and office life. Although no direct office chair products have been launched, it provides certain ideas and directions for the design style of Porsche office chairs.
