Pneumatic Office Chair Installation
The installation steps for a pneumatic office chair are as follows, and details should be adjusted according to the specific model:

Install the Five-Star Base and Wheels Insert each wheel into the assembly holes of the five-star base one by one. Some designs require screwing in for fixation. Ensure the wheels are fully embedded to prevent loosening.
Install the Pneumatic Rod Place the thicker end of the pneumatic rod against the center hole of the five-star base. For some models, remove the gas rod cap in advance (e.g., S100 model) to ensure a secure connection between the pneumatic rod and the five-star base.
Connect the Base Plate and Seat Cushion
- Place the base plate on the seat cushion, paying attention to directional indicators (such as arrows or text prompts). Align the screw holes and initially tighten the screws 3-4 turns, then tighten them one by one until fixed.
- Screw specifications may vary by model: For example, the M90C-Z102 model uses 4 M6*16 base plate screws and 8mm washers; another model may require 4 B screws.
Secure the Seat Cushion and Pneumatic Rod Align the base plate hole at the bottom of the seat cushion with the top of the pneumatic rod and insert it to ensure a tight connection. Some models may require gently pressing down on the seat cushion to fully embed it into the pneumatic rod.
Install the Armrests
- Align the holes of the armrests with those of the armrest brackets and connect them with screws (such as M6*30 screws, 6mm washers, and armrest tube washers), tightening them until secure.
- For some models, press the button below the armrest surface to insert it into the hole (e.g., adjustable armrest design). After installation, test whether the adjustment function works properly.
Install the Backrest
- Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the installation positions on the seat cushion armrests and insert them. First, use 2 C screws to secure the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets.
- Align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with those of the seat cushion brackets and secure them with D screws.
- Screw specifications may vary by model: For example, M820 screws connect the chair back and the base plate tailboard, or 5 M820 screws with large washers connect the back steel plate and the seat cushion.
Install the Headrest Insert the headrest into the middle position at the top of the chair back, secure it by passing screws (such as 2 E screws) through the fixing clips, or directly insert it and adjust the height to a comfortable position.
Function Adjustment and Inspection
- Pull out the anti-slip pin to unlock the handle function (some models require this step).
- Test whether the functions of the pneumatic rod lifting, armrest adjustment, and reclining lock work properly.
- Check that all screws are tightened, install the armrest decorative caps (if any), and ensure there are no loose or missing parts.
Precautions:
- Screw specifications and installation sequences may vary by model (such as S100, M90C-Z102). Be sure to refer to the specific instruction manual.
- Pay attention to the direction of the base plate and alignment of screw holes during installation to avoid missing washers or screws, which could lead to structural instability.
- Avoid excessive force when testing functions to prevent damage to the pneumatic rod or adjustment mechanism.
