Plum Blossom Coin Office Chair

Hanging a plum blossom coin behind an office chair has feng shui significance and specific hanging methods.

Feng Shui Significance

The plum blossom coin, also known as the 'promotion coin', is a commonly used feng shui trinket among the public. It is regarded as an 'office talisman' by white-collar workers, clerical staff, and entrepreneurs. In feng shui theory, the area behind an office chair is considered the 'support' position, symbolizing support and assistance in one's career. Hanging a plum blossom coin behind an office chair is like setting up an 'invisible shield' in the 'support' position. This practice is believed to resolve some negative factors in the workplace, such as backbiting from colleagues and being ignored by superiors. From a psychological perspective, such an arrangement may bring a sense of psychological security, enabling people to work more at ease, reducing psychological stress caused by external disturbances, and thus allowing them to focus more on their work, which helps improve work efficiency and career luck.

Specific Hanging Methods

• Hanging Material: Choose soft cotton threads or red tassels of Chinese knots to hang the plum blossom coin. Soft cotton threads are gentle and will not damage the office chair. Moreover, their soft texture aligns with the feng shui significance of the plum blossom coin. Red tassels of Chinese knots carry a strong flavor of traditional Chinese culture. In Chinese culture, red symbolizes auspiciousness and celebration, adding a positive atmosphere to the office environment.
• Hanging Position: Hang the plum blossom coin in the center of the chair back. The center of the chair back is the core of the 'support' position. Hanging the coin here can maximize its feng shui effect and provide comprehensive protection for the user.
• Text Orientation: The text on the plum blossom coin should face the user. This orientation implies that the auspicious meaning and protective power of the coin directly act on the user themselves, enhancing their career luck and aura in the workplace.
• Hanging Height: The ideal height is level with the earlobes. This height conforms to ergonomics, will not interfere with the user's daily activities, and can achieve the best feng shui effect, allowing the energy of the plum blossom coin to better integrate with the user.
