Peace Office Chair Cleaning
Admin October 11, 2026
The cleaning of Peace office chairs requires targeted methods based on the material and components. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Overall Cleaning
- Surface Dust Removal: Prioritize using a vacuum cleaner with fabric attachments and crevice tools to thoroughly remove dust, hair, and debris. If a vacuum cleaner is not available, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster to avoid scratching the material.
- Material-Appropriate Cleaners:
- Mesh/Fabric Chairs: Dilute a neutral cleaner and spray it on the stains. Let it sit for a moment to allow the stains to detach from the fibers, then gently brush with a soft brush or wipe with a damp cloth. Finally, place it in a well-ventilated area to air dry naturally.
- Upholstered Chairs: Select a specialized cleaner (such as a sofa or carpet cleaner), dip a small amount onto a white cloth, and repeatedly wipe the stains. Avoid using excessive water to prevent liquid from seeping into the inner layers, which could cause mold or deformation.
- Leather/Vinyl Chairs: Mix warm water with a few drops of dishwashing liquid and gently dab the stains (do not wipe directly). Alternatively, choose a dry-cleaning solvent (S) or water-based solvent (W) according to the care label for cleaning.
II. Stubborn Stain Removal
- Test the Cleaner: Test alcohol or an enzyme-based stain remover on an inconspicuous area (such as the bottom of the chair back) to confirm no material damage (such as fading or hardening) occurs. Then, gently dab the stain, wipe off the residue with a damp cloth, and let it air dry naturally.
- Avoid Chemical Damage: Do not use rubbing alcohol on acrylic fiber upholstery to prevent fiber damage or fading. Leather chairs should avoid strong cleaners containing solvents to prevent surface cracking.
III. Wheel Cleaning
- Disassembly and Initial Cleaning: Some wheels can be pulled off directly, while others need to be unscrewed. Use a butter knife to scrape off large debris (such as food crumbs or pebbles) stuck in the wheels.
- Remove Tangled Items: Use small scissors to cut through tangled hair, then use tweezers to remove any remaining debris.
- Deep Cleaning: Wet a used face towel and let it air dry partially. Use the textured side to increase friction against the wheels, wrap the wheels, and secure them with rubber bands. Move the chair back and forth to transfer dirt onto the face towel. Alternatively, wipe the wheels with a damp soapy cloth. For stubborn stains, use a cotton swab dipped in water to clean the gaps between the wheels and the covers.
- Drying and Reassembly: Wipe the wheels dry with a paper towel, ensure they are completely dry before reinstalling them to prevent water from hindering rolling or causing rust.
IV. Daily Maintenance
- Regular Inspection: Check all parts of the chair (such as screws, gas lifts, and wheels) monthly for damage or looseness. Repair them promptly to extend the service life.
- Prevent Dirt Buildup: Stick invisible tape (with an appropriate width and moderate stickiness) on the wheels. Keep it wrinkled when sticking to avoid excessive slippage of the wheels and reduce the production of black spots on the floor. Regularly clean the floor dust to prevent the wheels from bringing in more dirt when rolling.
