The installation steps for an office mesh chair are as follows:

1. Prepare Components and Tools
   Before installation, ensure all components are complete, including the five-star base (or five-claw base), wheels, gas lift, seat, backrest, seat pan, armrests, screws (short, medium, and small sizes), nuts, and decorative accessories. Also, prepare tools such as screwdrivers and ensure the installation environment is clean to avoid losing parts.

2. Install the Five-Star Base and Wheels
   Insert the wheels vertically into the five holes of the five-star base, ensuring a tight connection between the wheels and the base with no looseness. For some models, press firmly until you hear a 'click' sound to confirm the wheels are fully embedded.

3. Secure the Seat Pan
   Align the seat pan with the mounting holes on the bottom of the seat and secure it with four short screws. Ensure the direction of the seat pan matches the curvature of the seat to avoid discomfort from incorrect installation.

4. Assemble the Backrest and Gas Lift

   • Method 1: Place the backrest bar with the groove facing upwards, secure it to the rear mounting holes of the seat pan with medium screws, and tighten the nuts. Then, insert the gas lift into the center hole of the seat pan, ensuring it is perpendicular to the ground.
   • Method 2: For some models, first install the backrest bracket, slip the mesh backrest onto the bracket, secure it with screws, and then insert the entire assembly into the mounting holes of the seat pan and tighten.

5. Connect the Five-Star Base and Seat
   Align the assembled seat section (including the gas lift) with the center hole of the five-star base and gently press down to fully embed the bottom of the gas lift into the five-star base, ensuring a secure connection. Test the gas lift's height adjustment function to ensure it works properly.

6. Install the Armrests
   Align the left and right armrests with the mounting holes on both sides of the seat and secure them with screws. Be sure to distinguish between the left and right armrests to avoid incorrect installation. After tightening the screws, gently shake the armrests to confirm there is no wobbling.

7. Install Additional Features (if applicable)

   • Footrest Components: Insert the footrest bar into the footrest frame and secure the tail end holes with two small screws to prevent the footrest from sliding out.
   • Massage Function: For the 9-point massage model, insert the power massage cable into the corresponding port on the seat, ensuring the connection is secure and no wires are exposed.

8. Final Inspection and Decoration
   Check that all screws are tightened to avoid safety hazards caused by looseness. Attach black decorative buttons and the diamond-shaped decorative panel on the back of the backrest (if applicable) to enhance the overall aesthetics. Finally, test the chair's height adjustment, rotation, and armrest adjustment functions to ensure they work properly.

Precautions: Follow the instructions in the manual in order during installation to avoid rework caused by skipping steps; apply appropriate torque to avoid stripping screws; if you encounter any jamming or mismatched parts, stop installation immediately and contact after-sales service.
