Office Chair and Wheelchair Anti-Slip

Admin October 09, 2026

There are various ways to achieve anti-slip for office chairs and wheelchairs, as detailed below:

For office chairs, there are multiple anti-slip options. The first option is to replace the wheels with locking-function wheels. For example, wheels with a diameter of 60 millimeters often come with a silent cover made of soft PU material. Not only do they produce minimal noise during movement, but they can also be locked by simply pressing down the locking mechanism when needed. A set includes five wheels, providing good stability. To move the chair again, just lift the locking mechanism to unlock. There are also gravity wheels, which are unique in that their internal mechanism increases the lateral resistance of the wheels when subjected to gravity, making movement more strenuous and thus reducing the likelihood of accidental sliding while also keeping noise levels low. Additionally, bearing-hollowed wheels are another choice, which can be locked with a simple operation, such as pressing a button. Large wheels with a specification of 65mm also have a locking function, which can be engaged by pressing a side button, suitable for scenarios requiring high stability.

The second method is to use fixed foot pads. These foot pads are simple and practical in design. After being pulled out, they can be inserted back in to secure the chair in place, making them particularly suitable for elderly users, such as grandparents or children at home, effectively preventing safety hazards caused by chair sliding.

The third option is to choose fixed-leg arch chairs. These chairs do not have wheels; instead, their legs are made of a one-piece, arch-shaped steel base with a reinforced bottom crossbeam and anti-slip feet, making the chair very stable and difficult to slide when seated, suitable for office scenarios requiring long-term fixed positioning.

For wheelchairs, anti-slip pads can be placed on them. Anti-slip pads are usually made of special anti-slip materials, effectively increasing the friction between the wheelchair and the ground, reducing sliding caused by wet or uneven surfaces during movement, and enhancing the safety and comfort of users. The installation and use of anti-slip pads are also relatively simple; just place them in the appropriate position on the wheelchair.
