Office Chair Wheel Assembly

Admin October 10, 2026

The assembly steps for office chair wheels typically include checking components, installing the five-star base and wheels, and subsequent connections, with specific operations adjusted according to the model.

  1. Checking Components
Upon receiving the goods, it is essential to confirm the completeness of the components immediately. Standard components should include wheels (usually 5), a five-star base (chair base), gas lift, seat plate, and backrest components. If the wheels and five-star base are designed separately, check the number of wheels and whether the holes on the five-star base match individually; if they are an integrated structure (such as pre-assembled chair wheels and base in some models), confirm the overall integrity. Missing or damaged components may affect the assembly progress, so it is advisable to contact the merchant in advance for replacements.

  2. Installing the Five-Star Base and Wheels

    • Separate Structure: Place the five-star base flat on the ground, align each wheel with the holes on the five-star base, and press firmly until the bottom clips are fully embedded. Ensure the wheels are oriented consistently to avoid uneven rolling after installation. Some models may require the wheels to be rotated and fixed, so adjust the angle according to the instructions.
    • Integrated Structure: If the chair wheels and base are pre-assembled (such as in some models of the C300 second-generation Pro), there is no need to install the wheels separately; proceed directly to the next step of connecting the gas lift.
  3. Subsequent Connections

    • Inserting the Gas Lift: Vertically insert the gas lift into the center hole of the five-star base, ensuring the bottom of the gas lift fully contacts the bottom of the hole. The gas lift must remain upright to avoid instability during subsequent use.
    • Assembling the Seat Plate and Base: Slide the base onto the top of the gas lift and secure it with screws; then connect the seat plate to the base and adjust the tightness of the screws. Some models (such as the 901 model) require additional installation of a backrest bracket, which should be aligned with the slots according to the instructions and pressed firmly to secure.
    • Installing the Backrest: Align the backrest components with the reserved interfaces on the seat plate or base, insert them, and secure them with screws or clips. Check that the backrest tilt angle matches the design to avoid misalignment during installation.

Precautions: Assembly details may vary among different models (such as the T37 hollow model, C300 second-generation Pro, and 901 model), including wheel fixation methods and gas lift connection structures. It is recommended to refer primarily to the installation video or instructions for the specific model to avoid damage to parts or safety hazards due to improper operation. If resistance is encountered during assembly, do not force it; instead, check the orientation of the components or whether the interfaces match.
