Repair of Rattan-Woven Office Chairs

• Minor Damage: If there is minor damage to the rattan weaving, use thin wire to wrap and stitch it. Pay attention to the tightness of the wrapping during operation to ensure that the stitched area is firm and avoid further damage in the future.
• Major Damage: For major damage, the rattan weaving needs to be rewoven. First, clean the damaged area and prepare tools such as thin wire, wooden sticks, and glue. Wrap the damaged area with thin wire to ensure stability. If necessary, inlay wooden sticks for reinforcement and then glue them together. If reweaving is required, choose appropriate materials, such as bamboo rattan or seaweed weaving materials, cut them into appropriate lengths, insert them into the chair fabric one by one, and complete the weaving by passing them through. Wooden sticks can be added at relevant positions to make them more sturdy.
• Broken Rattan Strips: Clean the broken ends and connect the new rattan strips to the old ones with thin wire or strong glue, and fix them tightly. Then, weave them slowly according to the original weaving pattern to ensure neatness and firmness.
• Loose Rattan Strips: Use nails or rattan nails to re-fix the loose rattan strips on the frame, ensuring a tight connection between the rattan strips and the frame and restoring the stability of the rattan weaving.
• Frame Issues: If the frame is not severely deformed, try to correct it with tools; if it is severely damaged, replace it with a high-quality frame to ensure the overall structural stability of the rattan-woven office chair.

Repair of Mesh Office Chairs

• Mild Sagging: When the sagging is less than 1cm and only locally loose, find the mesh fixing straps under the seat cushion. Tighten the screws and re-cross and tighten the straps to increase the tightness. Add nails at the joints to improve stability. You can also install a thin high-density foam pad at the sagging area to temporarily improve the support effect, with a cost of basically no more than 50 yuan.
• Moderate Sagging: When the sagging is 1 - 2cm and the mesh is generally loose but not damaged, if the chair is within the warranty period, give priority to contacting the brand's after-sales service to apply for a free mesh replacement or adjustment service; if it is out of warranty, you can purchase a replacement mesh of the same size by yourself. The replacement cost of ordinary dragon-patterned special mesh is about 100 - 200 yuan, and that of U-mesh is about 200 - 300 yuan.
