Office Chair Warranty

Admin October 08, 2026

The warranty policy for office chairs covers the warranty period, content, scope, exclusions, and precautions, as detailed below:

Warranty Period

The overall three-guarantee validity period is typically 1 year, starting from the date of invoice issuance. The warranty period for major components (such as the backrest, seat, and armrests) may be longer, as specified in the warranty card or instruction manual. For some high-end or highly functional chairs (such as ergonomic chairs), the warranty period can extend beyond 3 years, with some even offering 5-year or lifetime warranties (lifetime warranties generally apply only to the frame structure, while fabrics and accessories are covered under the regular warranty cycle).

Warranty Content

  • Free Repair: Quality issues not caused by human factors during the warranty period can be repaired free of charge, with the repaired product guaranteed to function normally for a certain period (e.g., more than 30 days). If the repair period is excessively long due to parts supply or repair issues, the seller should replace the product with the same model free of charge.
  • Replacement: If performance failures occur within 7 days of sale, the customer can choose to return, exchange, or repair the product; if failures occur within 15 days, the customer can choose to exchange or repair it. If the product still cannot function normally after two repairs during the warranty period, the seller should replace it with the same model free of charge or issue a refund as required.
  • Refund: If a return is requested within 7 days of sale, the seller should issue a full refund free of charge. If, during the warranty period, the product meets exchange conditions but the same model is unavailable, or if the customer prefers a refund over an exchange, the seller should issue a refund and charge a depreciation fee as required.

Warranty Scope

  • Craftsmanship and structural issues such as frame breakage, base damage, gas lift malfunction, fabric peeling or detachment, and seam splitting.
  • Non-human-induced damage to core components (such as gas lifts, height adjustment mechanisms, and casters).

Exclusions (Non-Warranty Scope)

  • Damage caused by improper use, maintenance, or storage by the consumer.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized disassembly by non-authorized repairers.
  • Lack of a valid three-guarantee certificate and invoice, or a mismatch between the certificate model and the product.
  • Damage caused by force majeure (such as natural disasters).
  • Normal wear and tear of the product, such as slight cushion collapse or fabric wear.

Precautions

  • The warranty period generally does not cover human-induced damage or normal wear and tear (such as damage caused by self-disassembly or slight fabric wear during normal use).
  • When purchasing, request and properly keep the invoice and warranty card, and carefully read the warranty terms promised by the seller.
  • When asserting rights, retain evidence of the fault (such as photos, videos, or chat records) and contact the seller first for resolution.
