Office Chair Vest Hanger

Hanging vests on office chairs should be done according to the occasion, and there are related considerations from the perspective of Feng Shui, although Feng Shui claims currently lack scientific evidence.

Suitability for Different Occasions

• Home Setting: Temporarily hanging a vest on the back of a chair at home is a convenient option. For example, when working in the home study, a temporarily removed vest can be casually hung on the chair back, which neither affects the overall environment nor makes it difficult to retrieve when needed.
• Public Office Setting: It is inappropriate to pile up vests on the chair back or hang them casually for a long time in public office areas. This affects the overall cleanliness of the office area and makes the work environment appear disorganized. Moreover, many public office areas follow the 5S management standards, namely Seiri (Sort), Seiton (Set in Order), Seiso (Shine), Seiketsu (Standardize), and Shitsuke (Sustain). Hanging vests casually may violate these standards, which is not conducive to creating a good work atmosphere and improving work efficiency.

Considerations from the Feng Shui Perspective

• Color: Earthy yellow or yellow are highly recommended. These two colors are associated with the earth element in Feng Shui and are believed to bring a sense of stability and groundedness. Other low-key neutral colors such as beige and camel are also options. These colors are relatively soft and not overly flashy. Colors associated with the fire element, such as red and purple, should be avoided as they may be too intense and could make people overly excited in an office environment, affecting their work state.
• Material: It is advisable to choose cotton and linen materials. Cotton and linen are natural and rustic, giving a feeling of being close to nature. In Feng Shui, they are believed to bring a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere.
• Hanging Method: The vest should be placed flat on the chair back, preferably covering the entire chair back. In Feng Shui, this is believed to form a complete and stable energy field, which helps improve the stability of work and life.
• Quantity: Two main colors are sufficient. Too many colors and quantities may make the energy field complex and chaotic, which is not conducive to concentrating on work.

In addition, there are various types of hanging vests available for sale on Alibaba, such as cross-back pure desire style sexy back strap hanging wall vests and color-block hanging neck U-neck strap vests, but there is no mention of their compatibility with office chairs.
